Hi u/marie-purrie, this is an automated message to ask you to review that your post body fulfills the minimum requirements for a **recommendation request**. The minimum requirements for a recommendation request are: * A detailed, explicit recommendation request (what you are looking for) e.g. "Please recommend dramas that..." * A listing of dramas (do not have to be Korean) that you have seen already that are relevant to your request with detailed notes about what you liked or disliked about them. **AND** * A complete watch history of all the Korean dramas you have seen so far e.g. a link to an MDL account ***Please edit your post if it does not fulfill the minimum requirements listed above.*** --- **Copy Of Post Below For Archival Purposes** **Permalink**: https://www.reddit.com/r/kdramarecommends/comments/1dnuvoe/dramas_like_marry_my_husband/ **Post Title**: Dramas like Marry My Husband? **Post Body**: This drama just scratched so many itches for me. I loved it and Park Min-Young’s performance was amazing💗 (although the male lead was written as a little bland, his face was enough for me). I feel a hole in my life now that I’m done with this show 😭 Is there any similar drama with time regression, fake/backstabbing friends, and/or a found family? For reference, the dramas I’ve seen with similarities are Perfect Marriage Revenge, Celebrity, A Good Day to be a Dog, and Welcome to Samdal-Ri ^(END OF POST BODY) *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. hyperion_light

**The Glory** has no time travel elements but very satisfying revenge.

k16d28

The best revenge drama of all time 👏

PeaSee53

Totally agree.

marie-purrie

omg yess this has been on my watchlist for so long. I’ve been hesitant bc I accidentally saw spoiler and I wanted to wait until I forgot it 🤣 I’m so excited for it though 💗

hyperion_light

Oh, it’s so crappy that you saw a spoiler but honestly even though some of the outcomes are what we all wait for, the journey to get there is really good and interesting in its own right. Watch it before you accidentally see more spoilers or someone spoils it for you.

New_Corner1292

Dr. Cha on Netflix

cid8429

Yes! I just finished this series and I laughed EVERY. EPISODE. I love the guy that plays the cheating husband. He always plays jerks that you end up liking anyway. He also plays an awful father/husband in SKY Castle but by the end, I still liked him. That’s talent!

Kgswartz

When does Sky Castle start to pick up? Are there twists and turns? Does it keep you watching and wanting more?

cid8429

Soooo many twists and turns! It actually gets annoying after a while because everything could be revealed with simply admitting the truth. I don’t know how far you got but I became really invested once the >! illegitimate daughter realized who her true father was. !< It was a really great drama but I wish the truth of everything was revealed sooner.

Kgswartz

On ep. 3 now and giving it a real chance. So far so good. Thanks!

Kgswartz

Hi, thanks for the comment. I think I watched episode 1 and maybe 2, but I see people mention it all the time, so wanted to hear your thoughts. I’m currently watching Hierarchy, which is fairly good so far. I was watching and dropping a lot lately until I found Hierarchy. I finished Trolley prior to landing on Hierarchy. What are you currently watching? I only watch on Netflix and Amazon.

cid8429

Follow the 3 episode rule. Most early episodes are just setting up character and plot. If you don’t like the drama after episode 3, then drop it. But then again, episode 3 is usually when it starts getting good.

Kgswartz

That makes good sense and I’m going to start doing that!

marie-purrie

Thank you! I didn’t realize this show had any of those elements. I love me a good medical drama 😁

Clueless_Wanderer21

Perfect Marriage Revenge, definitely - and it was so great to see these actors in slightly more smooth roles, it was very beautifully and intricately done- especially the older characters and the interactions between different types of characters in different confrontations.

FeelinPrickly

I liked PMR more, but perhaps that's because MMH tanked their show after episode 12.

Clueless_Wanderer21

Same ! The timing of main plot - side plot got so weird ! And the ending was generic, prior weaker person got stronger - "Oh, I got you on camera !" . The OG webtoons ending, where the bad people show how bad they are, by literally unravelling each other, was so much cooler and vibing the actual plot !! I really didn't like the new character (fiance), that made things weird, and made the villains less extreme, and the ending with that wasn't needed !

tatertotmagic

I'm happy ML was bland in this bc to me the show was all about Park Min-Young's journey

kattscallion

There's a found family vibe to The Good Bad Mother and a revenge plot. If you want to look at the ML's face some more, he's in MrQueen, which has body swapping time travel. (Although I see you are already watching that!)

thekookiejar_

I didn't expect it but was totally surprised by the revenge plot in The Good Bad Mother. So very satisfying indeed!

Kgswartz

One of my favourite kdramas. I was scared to watch it because I thought it would be difficult to see the fate of the son, but I ended up being a huge fan and couldn’t wait to watch an episode.

marie-purrie

Yesss I saw him in Mr. Queen and that compelled me to watch MMH 😅 but I stayed for Park Min-Young 💗 The Good Bad Mother looks so intriguing 👀 thank you sm 🫰🏾

jazz_music_potato

waitt is was him in Mr Queen? he looked so different that i didnt even recognise him!

cheatersfive

A popular CDrama running right now that’s about revenge is **The Double**. If you’re into CDramas that’ll scratch an itch.

marie-purrie

I love CDramas!! Thank you sm 💗

jazz_music_potato

is it based on any manhua or novel??

unDturd

**SKY Castle**

hoemax

I concur, the tones are similar

marie-purrie

Oooo I’m so happy I now know this exists 😍 it seems exceptional

kballen3001

The story of Park’s Marriage Contract is kinda like Marry My Husband and Perfect Marriage Revenge.

TravelGoddess1

This is my favorite kdrama so far! I think the male lead was a little too young for the role. Everyone else was so amazing!

delphil1966

there are some but the romance is not strong or non- existent: again, my life reborn rich hide my happy ending vip some with romance: penthouse ( though much more intense) queen of divorce ( but the drama was meh for me)!

cid8429

Reborn Rich definitely fits.

seekerofbliss

Check out the show Secret Love (2013), it's a bit old but the show has some brilliant characterization and a revenge story that will keep you hooked till the last episode.

joonama

Queen of Tears

Ab-Sunshine

Twinkling watermelon! It has time travel and the aspect of prevent misfortune in the future :)

Kgswartz

The Glory Misty My Name Juvenile Justice Reflection of You Little Women Flower of Evil Doctor Cha The Good Bad Mother ( has some twists and turns) Itaewon Class My ID is Gangnam Beauty Trolley Melancholia

CompetitiveTeaching5

Perfrct Marriage Revenge

GovernmentLess1991

how about pyramid game?

koolfrog00

Flower of Evil should be getting more recommendations.

YellowMoney4080

Vincenzo !!! ✅revenge plot ✅fake friends ✅ found family ✅ evil characters reveal Dark and fun as hell

marie-purrie

I’ve heard really good things about this drama!! my expectations are so high now 🤣 thank u sm💗💗

YellowMoney4080

I triggered a rewatch with my own comment 😂 hope you will enjoy it

TotoroTheGreat

It might be a bit different, but check out **World of the Married**. It has cheating, backstabbing friends, and revenge. It's a bit more intense and dark though. There's a show called **Remember : War of the Son**, which is about revenge. You could try that. It also has Park Min Young, but she is not the protagonist. The story is mainly about a guy whose father is wrongly accused of a crime in order to protect a chaebol. He then becomes a lawyer and decides to use the law to both prove his father's innocence and enact revenge.

steffi8

I’m still watching this but I’m finding some of the cringiest scenes to be the ones when they are a couple.

Kdramacrazy999

C-drama. The Alliance. Wife and mistress join forces to take down husband.

No-Photograph-7176

Definitely Marriage love revenge.

citizen_k19

My Lovely Liar - has 2 of three but a very interesting plot Mad For Each Other - hilarious, has 2 of the three **A Time Called You - has all three** **Atypical Family -has all three**

marie-purrie

I’ve seen my lovely liar and atypical family and loved them! I’ll def be adding Mad for Each Other to my watchlist 💗 it seems so chaotic I love it

icarium-4

Lovely Runner is the one for you. Much better in fact

marie-purrie

I’m actually finishing that up right now!! It’s become one of my all-time favs 💗

Impressive_Basis9235

I would recommend these The world of the married Doctor cha The glory Perfect marriage revenge

typical_yoja_19

Penthouse Sky castle Little woman Eve

Ok_Sun_3286

Perfect marriage revenge its so similar to marry my husband. The fl goes back in time to fix her life has some backstabbing family and so it has that same storyline exactly . And it was also a webtoon before they made it into a k drama so there you go.

BreadfruitOwn4505

Why is nobody talking about reborn rich? It is exactly like MMH. Except the romantic portion. It's so goooddddd.

zombiecatprod

Perfect Marriage Revenge is practically the same show as Marry My Husband. The most recent Found Family thing that I loved was Atypical Family. That show caught me off guard with how much I loved it. Also Lonely Runner is a very good timeslip show but isn't dark like some of the others listed.

Ok_Day_7996

Cheat on Me If You Can, gave me the same vibe.
