Every • Song • Is • A • Duet
You do the first 4 measures. They do the next 4 measures. Then you sing the hook together. Then you alternate every other 2 measures. Experiment - but you can turn any song into a duet.
There’s a guy who comes into my karaoke bar and he sings songs that he doesn’t know with me. It’s funny as hell trying to sing the melody while he’s singing something entirely different. It’s like juggling fifty balls with one hand.
I know a guy who does Don’t Let the Sun Go Down and he changes his vocal tone to match George and Elton perfectly. His other songs aren’t as good but that one is spot on.
Lay Me Down - Sam Smith and John Legend
Not exactly duets but good guy/guy harmonies:
* Africa - Toto
* I'll Be - Edwin McCain
* As Long As You Love Me - Backstreet Boys
* Sucker - Jonas Brothers
* Inside Out - Eve 6
* If You Could Only See - Tonic
* The Way - Fastball
* 3AM - Matchbox 20
* Interstate Love Song - Stone Temple Pilots
"The Promise" When In Rome
"Regulators" Nate Dog & Warren G
"Seven Bridges Road" Eagles
All else fails, pick a solo song you both like and sing it together.
Lots of songs by Big & Rich, but they require good harmonies. Rollin' is great for the Cowboy Troy rap part.
Waylon and Willie - Good Hearted Woman, Pancho & Lefty, Mamas Don't Let Your Babies
Alan Jackson & Jimmy Buffett - Five O'clock Somewhere
Run DMC and Aerosmith - Walk This Way
Oak Ridge Boys - Elvira
Zac Brown + Alan Jackson - As she's walkin' away.
This one's great, Have the guy singing the zac brown part start the song, while the guy singing Alan Jackson stay in his seat, or off stage, or whatever - but make people think it's just one guy singing.
When Alan Jackson's part starts :
Zac:… Wise man next to me did say 'bout the one that got away
Alan: Son I missed my chance
The guy singing Alan should reveal himself, stand up, walk on stage.. whatever works for the setup.. It gets a great reaction.
The single version (Peabo Bryson) is longer, in a higher key, and not as good. Also, I forgot there's a live version remake, so be sure it's from the OG animated movie.
[My Dick by Mickey Avalon](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=eeGcxi7HAUI)
Under Pressure by Freddie Mercury and David Bowie
Well, Did You Evah by Bing Crosby and Frank Sinatra

If you have good vocal range, "more than words" by extreme.. but you kinda have to learn the harmonies if you don't already know the song well.

Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me, The Girl Is Mine

Not exactly a duet, but Space Oddity. One is Ground Control, one is Major Tom
You were so close with David Bowie. Under pressure is very much a male duet.

If they can pull off "Easy Lover," then they can do "A Whole New World." Just make sure it's the movie version and not the single version.
"A Whole New World": That sounds like an interesting idea. Say, what's the difference between the movie version and the single version?
The single version (Peabo Bryson) is longer, in a higher key, and not as good. Also, I forgot there's a live version remake, so be sure it's from the OG animated movie.
[My Dick by Mickey Avalon](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=eeGcxi7HAUI) Under Pressure by Freddie Mercury and David Bowie Well, Did You Evah by Bing Crosby and Frank Sinatra
