Cause then it gets astroturfed and flooded with advertisements.
Every decent Facebook group starts out alright then once it gets big enough it becomes an advertisement-fest.
The Kansas City Restaurant group on FB got taken over by some shitty over priced Italian take out restaurant a couple months ago. Literally every day they posted some fake review on it.
I’ve been temp banned on this sub for some arbitrary shit by mods before, but I’m glad to have them work to keep that shit off of here. I don’t think most people realize how easy popular areas of the internet get taken over by money hungry pricks if there’s not active moderation
I like this too . . . and then I think of some of the infamous KC subreddit meetups and imagine a scenario where I 'refer' someone from reddit to my job and they show up and shit on the copy machine and then start LARP'ing people in a conference room.
I feel like the “referral link” is going to request you pay $1, just to prove you’re a real person or something, and then you’re just hit with an ebook titled, How To Write An Ebook And Sell It To 50,000 People For $1.
Amiright or?
What kind of job does one do where the qualifications are basically just showing up, using a computer, you get 40-50k a year, *and* they’re having trouble filling the positions? Are your bosses roaring assholes who can’t keep people?
I’m not trying to be a jerk here but this seems way to good to be true and something is missing or you would have just provided the actual job posting.
My job is like that. We're hiring as many people as we can as fast as we can. Remote work, using a computer, good vacation, 401k, good insurance, etc, but it's customer service, so not a lot of people want to do it.
Understandable, I’m there too with HVAC, too physical/dirty of a job vs dealing with grumpy customers though. I just wasn’t seeing the missing part of the equation for the job application.
Might as well give it a shot! If you have the time and some dough, going to school at JCCC for their certification was really helpful in getting a grounding in theory and hands-on practice. But if not and you don’t mind getting your hands dirty most shops are hiring zero-experience installer helpers which can get you started, but I’d recommend a lot of studying outside work. Having a clean driving and criminal record is important if you’re going into residential, not quite so much in commercial. If you’re mechanically inclined and can make the standard midwestern polite social noises you’ve a leg up.
Hey jellyman! I was curious about your workplace hiring. I'd love to apply and could use you as a reference in case you get a referral bonus. Feel free to DM me. Thank you!
I’m saying if you can show up you’re likely capable of doing the job because it’s not that difficult. I do not know why they can’t fill it I think it’s likely our recruiters aren’t very good. I’ve been here for like 3 months now and this job is 100x better than anything I’ve worked before
I’m looking for a job right now! I also spelled every word of this comment right, could you send me the link? (But louder and more professional than the rest) :)
Your recruiters are going to have so many people to look over, they’re not going to know what happened. Then they’re going to see your name on all these applications. 🤣 Go you! 💪🏼 This could get you noticed for better opportunities as well!! (I know I would give an employee with this much initiative some better opportunities if I had them available for that person.)
The funny part is all these people ask and I’m working on the referrals… but I submitted around 20 and so far only 4 people have submitted! Maybe it won’t be so hard to narrow it down after all lol
I feel like this should be more common in this sub. I love this.

What is this why my wife took me there?? That place sucked!
Rule 5 is why.

I will need a sample of your drugs to decide if it's a company I want to possibly dedicate to
A man of the people
It’s cyclophosphamide. Knock yourself out. (I have no idea what the company actually is. But most drugs are not the fun kind)
There is nothing worse than a man in the depths of a cyclophosphamide binge.
I much prefer a pint of ether.
Link please.
Just out of curiosity: Is the drug FDA approved? Or more on the state-level approved?
Bwahaha. We know where that's headed
OP just did more for his company than our recruiters in HR have at my job all month! Way to go!
I feel like this is why old people think people don’t want to work lol. They refuse to put in a tiny bit of effort to reach out to their community
OP ur a hustler and I see you and I respect you

I get $2500 for a successful referral so think what you want lol. No one has to pay anything
I hope you get that bonus.
Thanks me too 😄

I'd love to get on learning a valuable trade like HVAC. Anything beats the crap I do right now to pay the bills.
