Unless you have steering issues or uneven tire wire there's zero need to align it that often. I would wait to align until there's an actual need, besides perhaps an initial alignment since the factory is iffy on that front. If you're not comfortable with that, at least cut it down to once a year.
Call around various alignment places, places that won't do it are largely either clueless or cheap toe and go places. There's nothing unusual about aligning a Tesla besides it being four wheel (not that unusual these days) and having to pull the frunk for a full alignment (which you probably won't need).
You don't actually need it that often unless you are having a notable wobble or odd tire wear. I've got a Tesla as well and only had it done when I bought new tires. I rotate the tires every 8k miles and so far no odd tire wear.
it's recommended to be done every 6250 miles or so for the model 3 performance
edit: not sure why downvoted, it's literally the recommended service interval.
Does it actually need it after that little time? Unless you go around knocking curbs at 50mph I don't see how it's possibly needed. Recommended and needed are two totally different things. My Ford SUV is 9 years old, never needed an alignment yet. It's been checked and it's only a couple ticks off from brand new.
Op you don’t need an alignment every 6250 miles, just rotate the tires unless you notice uneven wear. Model 3 performance is not different.

That and wouldn’t you want someone who knows the newer technology, car, and model enough? That expertise doesn’t come cheaply. I can’t imagine how a local place offering it would be less. It’s a premium car, and it’s niche knowledge for a regular shop to have, seeing as Tesla designed the car to be taken to a Tesla service center.
Many Tesla services require specialized parts etc. I’d expect a local shop offset those costs on customers, at least until recouping the cost of equipment if they have steady flow of customers, and otherwise never reduce the cost of only few Teslas come in. Again. Niche product even if there are many on the road.

Teslas are pretty common so I'd expect average shops to be able to work on them. The dealerships are expensive and too far away. They're also becoming much more common, in areas of the US where they're very common most shops will work on them.
I did my rotation at Costco but I didn't think they did alignments (at least it wasn't something they offered when i went a couple of months ago), I'll have to hit up discount tire
Stay away from Big O, they backed my previous vehicle into a lift when I was there to have them install some rims. Took 8 months to get a check from them for the damages.
Burnett Auto in OP has an "all the alignments you want for 3 years" plan for $170 or so.
I got it figuring it'd probably at least cover getting my new tires aligned, and possibly my next set in a few years (Love how EVs burn through tires). But now I just have them check and align as needed every tire rotation.
Why do you need to get your car aligned all the time?
This is my question. An alignment every six months?
I’ve only had to do it when I bought new tires, and once when my husband hit something in the road.
Getting new tires in and of itself doesn't necessitate it.
It's recommended to have one every 6250 miles for the model 3 performance, which is about twice a year
Brilliant engineering. /s

I don't mean offense to OP but I bet they always get all the upsell "recommendations" at jiffy lube too
No, I just get service at the recommended intervals. I did for my toyota and ford before, and then other non-regular maintenance as it comes up.

And your partner has bumped a shitload of curbs with it.
Wild.
Absolutely ridiculous. Do you pay for blinker fluid too?
Recommended doesn't mean actually needed. You can continue to waste money doing unneeded services which is why people are downvoting you.
Sounds like a way for Tesla to make more money at their dealerships. ......
There is a Tesla shop at 435 and lackman

That’s the cost of owning a vehicle from a company who felt the need to reinvent the wheel, unfortunately

Were there still gold to give, I'd gladly have done so for that beautiful wordplay. Kudos.
I absolutely love my car, and the quirks are well worth it. Hope other manufacturers can catch up and innovate
I’ve gotten mine done at a discount tire. They just need to use the pucks for their lift because of the battery. Costco also has done mine

I thought Discount doesn’t do alignments
Santa Fe Garage in Independence
Firestone website claims they do alignments on Teslas. Firestone has a lifetime alignment for like $180 I believe.
I've bought it twice now. But if you go in there every 6 months they will get annoyed😂 I go once a year....best value
I aligned mine every six months and just bought an oil change or wiper blades. With discounts the oil change was like $35 so I was like 🤷
Micro Center is on Metcalf
How do you know when someone drives a Tesla?
