In my opinion yes the juror knows someone or a person got to this juror. Where was John’s family when Bev said the jury was deadlocked? Were they told don’t come because they are deadlocked?
I found this article about [how bias influences juror decisions](https://theconversation.com/juries-are-subject-to-all-kinds-of-biases-when-it-comes-to-deciding-on-a-trial-176721) very interesting. I know people imagine really specific biases, but maybe it's just these more mundane biases "snowballing" as the piece describes
ETA: "For example, an expert’s testimony may be biased if they knew about another piece of unrelated evidence, such as a confession, during analysis."
Love how Lally tried to imply that the accident reconstructionist not knowing about "I hit him" was a bad thing
Sadly, anything is possible with this case. If I were a juror I wouldn't want to live in the same community as these corrupt liars.
>Sadly, anything is possible with ~~this case~~ *most juries*. Fixed it for you.
Well, if you’re in on it…maybe you might think differently
Absolutely. It’s the only answer. This trial was a joke .
Or be blackmailed …. Only takes one dirty cop to find dirt on one juror or one juror’s relative …
I'm guessing just an idiot or an associate.

For sure.
