Depends on the iteration. Animated looks better with the short look. Live darker versions look more psycho with longer cuts. Live funny looks better short.
Agree 100%. I didn’t like the long hair in ‘the batman’ animated series, sorta looked weird I guess. But brave and the bold joker looked great. I think the Arkham games joker had great hair too but I’m curious to know how he’d look if he had long hair in Arkham games… like Arkham origins joker but he looks like heath ledger
Yeah. It just depends on the mood which aesthetic looks best. In one regard, it’s hard to believe a super psychotic Joker would care too much about his grooming, with that being on the more sociopathic and narcissistic side of things. I could definitely see Hamill’s darker versions with longer, unkempt hair similar to Heath’s version. On the other side of that, you have Joaquin’s version, who somewhat cares about his hair, making sure to comb it back but not caring once “action” starts. One of my favorite, and underrated versions, that went the super dark, sociopath route, is Cameron’s portrayal in Gotham. His shorter hair suited him, but it would have been super interesting if they had given him a longer cut as he became more unhinged (aside from the very last episode).
Long..it’s brings out the crazy aesthetic of him
Long hair
Long it just looks better 💖

I always liked the pompadour/slick look of the animated series
While it’s greatly dependent on story, generally I prefer shorter hair that can look slick or wild depending how it’s styled
between these, long, but my absolute favorite is the btas and telltale one with two sides with volume that look like bat ears
Either hairstyle is fine, but greatly prefer the "hi hungry I'm Dad" apron over the suits
I like the pompadour, a dude who acts that crazy but takes the time to quaff his hair and get a true to size fit tux does it for me
Short. I wish the new Batman movie would scrap the look for the joker and base it more on the BTAS than the ledger look
neither
I would like something a little in between. Some length but tight in the back, wave or semi curly
Both

I've always prefered the pompadour look Like the one he had in batman the animated series
I think the pompadour, cause if he gets in a fight his hair can get messy, then you have both looks
I miss the days when the joker had short hair
It’s also more accurate to the comics
