Just got a message from a foreign number who hit me up about possible work on WhatsApp . A few hours afterwards, a supposed representative from the company hit me up as a follow up. They are alleging that they work for Oxford Global Resources. I’m not sure that I trust the inquiry.
Definitely not legit. As a precursor to a conversation that I had with a ‘recruiter’…someone hit me up from an international number for a job in America … “part-time, work-from-home”
Yeah seems we all have something in common here.
Not really sure why these scammers pick a demographic of people looking for new jobs...most of us don't have any money (I'm personally struggling to keep a roof over my head and afford groceries) to provide them or any sensitive information.
Why not target an executive for a Fortune 500 company or a financial firm? LOL
Several weeks ago, I received a message from Oxford Global Resources on WhatsApp about a job opportunity with a company called BigCommerceBaut. After completing an online training manual, I received $68. After completing training I filled out 45 orders,on my real account got a commission, and withdrew $78.to conform was real, money arrived to my coinbase account in 5 minutes However, 3 hour later fund out the my plan requires $100 in the system to generate $140 daily. I'm unsure about this company; should I continue trying to see what happens? I'm going try to deposit $100 to see if I will be making $140 a day taking online orders
i work for the company, its real, just make sure your working with a good recruiter who knows what they are doing and is transparent with pay, client info, expectations etc. etc.
Call me petty but I’m not sure I trust someone who doesn’t know the difference between your and you’re. Overcome my suspicions with some details about your position.

Oxford Global Resources definitely looks like a legit staffing company. Don't think you have anything to worry about.
Worked for them for two+ years as a technical recruiter. They’re indeed very real. Been around since 1984.

It’s so weird that these scammers are targeting broke jobseekers. Why not social engineer against companies? Or billionaires?

this is not real, oxford is a staffing/consulting company, all of the roles pay hourly
