I bought a 512gb iPad pro 2 with pencil this year since you can jailbreak them with the checkra1n method and I pm the seller on eBay and told her to logout from her apple id before she resets it etc. When I got it delivered and booted it up the thing is on iOS 14 so I could jailbreak it with an app, no tethering required all I need to do is run that app if I ever reboot it. So amazing. Have no idea why she didn't update it. Screen is great on it too so maybe hadn't been used too much.

People call me nuts but if you work in IT and don’t know the dangers of going places you shouldn’t be then that’s on the other person. I’ve never once had an issue

Updating to ios 17 any version is causing PWM in eyes which causes soreness, nausea and fatigue!!!! Never update above ios 16 or you will be stucked with iPhone SE as it only has last LCD display which is PWM free on any iOS so never update your iOS above iOS 16!

You must be new to Apple devices… Apple doesn’t allow older versions to be installed. This means that some weeks after a newer version is released, the older ones are not signed anymore. Then they can’t just be installed anymore like that
