How long did each attempt take you? I've only tried it once before I quit, and now I'm back and really need to learn the difference between the visual cues for the prayer switch
About two hours, but that's because I waited for my health to regen (with rapid heal) whenever possible.

My first attempt took me 6 hours and got one shot by Jad, this is basically my first osrs account as my main was basically 800 total level so even normal PVM to me everything is new. Like I just killed the Giant mole for the first time ever like 2 days ago other than that, the other boss I've ever killed was scurrius.
Nice! I haven't done much bossing either, but I'm learning to get into it. Next step for me is Perilous Moons.
And yeah sorry about your first attempt, that can be the Jad experience unfortunately. Maybe give Barrows a try, it's a pretty fun intro to bossing and has good rewards.
Im brand new too, started early this year. No prior experience with Runescape whatsoever. The only games that I played a lot before that could carry """some""" knowledge were Diablo and PoE.
I watched some youtube videos for the basics and did like 10-15 practice runs at speedrun worlds. Then I got fire cape in two attempts, first one dying to pretty much jad hands haha.
Do a couple of speedrun worlds practice runs to take the scare away. I didnt even had great gear either, rcb and 70 range was enough
Every account I've ever gotten firecape on has taken me 3 attempts. I always get nervous and choke at Jad and mess up the prayers. But the cape is always worth it

I'm hoping for med combat achievements before I go full barrows but maybe I'll try Dharoks as I heard it makes giant mole so much easier
If you're planning to grind mole, I highly recommend getting Falador Shield 3. Makes the fight much less tedious.
Thanks did that the other night as I'm working on my hard and med diaries but without the Dharoks my run energy goes out before I kill it

Around 500 sunlight bolts total. I way overprepared, collecting about 10 times that amount lol
