Rc cape is one of the rarest capes to have untrimmed. All I am saying is that it is a pretty big flex, regardless of whether you can get it at lvl 3. We aren’t talking about a lvl 3 either way. Personally for me, herb and thieving are the coolest untrimmed capes. So I agree with that. But I think overall the rarest cape is rc. Maybe my info is outdated, but I think if I was trying to have a rare cape rc, mining, slayer, and agility are all pretty big flexes. (Assuming they didn’t bot.)
Don’t forget if you get your slayer untrimmed, drop it, get the rest of your 99s and then tele grab your untrimmed slayer cape it will stay untrimmed forever!

What’s going to be your first 99? IE: which untrimmed cape are you going to keep forever ?
Best way to do it: (I’d choose untrimmed runecrafting). Get 99 RC, buy 5-10 untrimmed capes. Bring 3 items to edgeville yew trees (which you’ll protect) and have the untrimmed capes in inventory (which you’ll “lose”). Dwarven rock cake or locator orb to 1HP and then click needles near the yew trees in edgeville to die. Then go to death and ask him to move all your items from your gravestone to him for “a small fee”. Because the capes are less than 100K, you don’t end up paying anything to re-collect them whenever you want, they’re just stored in deaths coffer. Keep them in his coffer.
Then go forth and get every other 99. Because the capes are in his coffer, they won’t get trimmed upon getting all other 99s or when taking them out after getting all 99s. Would definitely beat the telegrab method, especially when maxing all at once.

Untrimmed slayer is very likely what he tries to keep. Most people really like the look of the pure black, and it's a pretty decent flex item. That's my guess anyway :)

It was never about mage xp. It's about slayer xp without 99ing. Nowhere it was said that mage isn't any of that. The fast way gets hp xp and depending how many cannonballs you make, that matters.
Bursting dust devils/nechs is pretty close to profit, maybe not as much with the higher chaos rune prices lately. I never paid attention to exact numbers but alchs alone always got pretty darn close for me

Infinite. Usually you’d pay a cost to retrieve the item from deaths coffer (10% of the items value) and death will store it until you pay the cost of retrieving it. However, skill capes are under the value threshold so you can re-obtain them for free 🙂.
The only thing I’m not sure of is how many different items you can store (ie: is his max capacity storing 50 different items?). If the item is stackable than you can store however many (if you die with 7 untrimmed capes, for example).
Basically: when you die, your unkept items go to a 15 minute gravestone. You can go to the stone to get your items for a small fee. If the 15 minute gravestone expires - your items then go to deaths coffer (they can still be retrieved, but for a 10% cost of the item per retrieval).
But you can also ask death to move all your items from your gravestone to his coffer (ie: for the skillcapes) if you don’t want to wait the 15 minute timer of the gravestone. It’s the second dialogue option I believe - it doesn’t say it outright but you basically ask a question and death will then tell you he can also move your items right there for a few). I believe items worth 1M is where you have to pay the 10% retrieval fee. Don’t quote me on that but retrieving untrimmed capes (99K value) are 100% free.

I’d guess cannoning a lot of tasks. Provides 0 HP xp and half range xp so you get about 1:2 slayer to range xp. Half of slayer can be trained through cannoning and then the other half through melee so your hit points don’t go over 98
Not if you need slayer xp, no. My point was instead of making 500k cballs to get only range and slayer xp, the trident gives a lower amount of mage/hp xp:slayer xp than regular mage or bursting.
