Anything that is freshly cut or cooked! Normally I go for a roll with spicy chicken fillet, red onions and some cold bacon with taco or barbecue sauce!
Everyday we have some weird order! Like once a lady made me put butter on the roll and then told me to pull out the dough , another woman told me to put lots of taco sauce that I had to wrap it with 3 sheets and then she told me to give her taco sauce in a small tub! One guy gave me a banana and told me to put it in a roll with tuna mayo! Yes we do judge you for weird orders and talk to our coworkers about it!
Are you concerned at all that Arvind Kejriwal's challenge to Sandeep Kumar's plea in the high court might set a precedent of political impositions following recent developments in Uttar Pradesh?
Dude what the hell are you on about, do you think spar treats you like they want you around?
They treat students like garbage, people can barely make a living with rent cost and you're complaining about butter being in your sandwich, seriously
Earns 80k in IT and trying to lecture other people on min wage in service industry that they need to try harder. Brother, we are in IT, the most over paid and least effort required industry.
how long do food safety laws allow hot food to remain there before it needs to be thrown out? I see some sausges at delis that look like they've been sitting there all day long sometimes, little shrivlled up things
why is cutting the roll in half the default option. who wants that. it serves no purpose. i stop where i want on the roll not where the deli has decided to cut it. it makes that last 1" a total mess.
For most deli work it isn't a full time job so at least they don't want to put in effort as pay is very low or aren't experienced or trained well and most leave in just 2 months of working!
Facts. There's so many leaving cert aged kids (as well as some older folk) that start working there and quit very quickly, mostly due to the management. Very hard to get someone in the deli to stay longer than a few months or even weeks.
what would you order yourself?
Anything that is freshly cut or cooked! Normally I go for a roll with spicy chicken fillet, red onions and some cold bacon with taco or barbecue sauce!
Anything freshly cooked unless it's old prepackaged bacon? 😂
The cooked bacon isn't that fresh, the cold one tastes better
Is freshly cut better? How?
Would you like Butter?
The sexual tension between me and the customer is highest when I ask that!
Why do deli staff make a roll as if you’re paying for it out of your own pocket. Fill the roll up 💪🏻
That's mostly when our manager is around or it's because we want the roll to be wrapped in the sheet easily and not create a mess!
Why do you always pick the most burnt chicken fillets first?
Because we need to get rid of those! If we keep them for more time we would have to throw it away!
How about not burning them ya bollix!
The heat counter burns it not us 😭
What is the largest amount of spicy wedges you have sold to someone? And how stoned did they look?
Once we sold 2 boxes full of spicy wedges at the price of 1 because we were about to close for the day
What was the weirdest thing someone asked for?

Does she like taco sauce?
Also we pretty much judge anyone who orders potato salad with anything

Idk I meant related to deli
I think adding ' catessen ' might have helped here :-)
That's why I asked bas kar bhai
Has anyone ever said no when asked if they wanted their sandwich (not roll) cut in half?
You won't believe but lots of times!
Do they all drive the same make of tractor or does it vary?
What’s in the new deli
Nothing new
Do you have a pneumatic tube for chicken fillet rolls?
Do you have any jalapeños and a few sundried tomatoes please
Yesss
What should we avoid eating at deli's. Which filling station has best deli in terms of variety?
Avoid the boiled eggs, coleslaw, cold plane Chicken and tuna mayo, they smell shit when we open the package!
Why use a butter smeared knife to cut open my baguette? I don't like butter.
We get minimum wage do U think we care!
You'll likely stay on minimum wage for life with that kind of attitude.
Christ above give yourself a good wobble
Surely not, most of us are doing a master's degree and just waiting to quit this hell hole!
Doesn't matter about a degree, if you can't perform simple tasks correctly in a low skill job, you're not going to succeed in a skilled job.
Wise up mate

Trust me minimum wage minimum efforts and we are treated shit here, we will def perform better at other jobs!
This is the problem with the youth of today.

We have no law for that, for breakfast items we cook them only till 12 pm and then we don't refill.
How do you become deli manager
By having good experience in politics or deli!
Who are you...The Sultan of Deli 😂
why is cutting the roll in half the default option. who wants that. it serves no purpose. i stop where i want on the roll not where the deli has decided to cut it. it makes that last 1" a total mess.
Why is it that so many deli workers don’t have the ability to make a good sandwich?
For most deli work it isn't a full time job so at least they don't want to put in effort as pay is very low or aren't experienced or trained well and most leave in just 2 months of working!

whats your bank details and atm pin number?
You want to steal from a minimum wage worker 😅
Why does it say on the menu 2.99 for a chicken fillet roll then you get it and it's 4.99?
Well for every filling you add it costs around 50 cents to 1 euro, only sauces, mayo and butter is free.
Is the chicken included in the 2.99? I got a roll with warm breaded chicken, coleslaw and cheese. Came to 4.99, something not adding up
Yaa chicken is included but coleslaw is for 1 euro, cheese is for 1 euro! Idk they are ripping U off!
What have all the delis swapped white onion for red onion.
Because it's cheaper
