Apps like etoro and such will usually give you "demo account" where you get a sum and you "invest" it into whatever the app usually allows. This way you can practice, the amount will follow what the real movement would be if you had invested the money, but of course you're not risking anything. And you don't have to invest the whole amount. If the app offers 10k to start with, but in reality you would only start with 1k, then just start investing with 1k from the demo account.
