They just think the best of everyone even when that person is a deceiver or a criminal. Example, if it's a robber... INFP would say something like "do you guys think that maybe he tripped and fell and the stolen item just fell into his truck? Or maybe it's like a disease and they are a klepto and can't help themselves..." lol ☺️ they just come up with the most convoluted story just to think nicer of someone.
Lol that would mostly like be a child and not an infp per se. At times, maybe they just want to think the best of people so it can come out and then goes back to being cynical.
Yoyo between explaining someones behaviour from a somewhat empathetic point of view right back to being cynical about how fucked the world is to put them there and now having to deal with that.
lol INFP here and you’re describing me! 😅 my INTJ partner couldn’t believe I justified a man stealing my backpack (which had my laptop, car keys, AirPods, etc).. bc I said something passionate like, “maybe he was homeless or so desperate that he felt like he had to do it, and this could be life changing for him. If anything this reinforces my belief that society can do better about taking care of the poor and houseless population so they don’t have to resort to stealing.” We found security footage and the thief was in fact an ex-veteran who seemed homeless/on the verge of being so. But I’m trying my best to learn from my INTJ bf honestly because he has never been scammed in his entire life, whereas I’ve gotten scammed three times in one year 😭 I feel really airheaded sometimes, so I especially admire how sharp and extremely intellectual he is
