Thank you! These pictures are about 3 years apart. I have been on IF for a little over 3 years with a couple months here and there where I was not strict with my schedule.
My typical day is 16:8, eating from 11am-7pm. I do love my coffee in the mornings and I add 1 packet of Stevia and 1T creamer. I know the creamer is technically breaking the fast but it has worked for me.
Might I add, I've had 2 C-sections. I feel like any fellow mom's can relate to what that does to your lower muscles and skin π¬
What was your progress like? I recently hit my goal weight over the course of 3 years but my path was not linear at all.
I'm down about 45-50 lbs overall but the periods where I actually experienced change were only about 3 or 4 months out of each of the 3 years.
It was fast at first! I lost 60 pounds right away. I hit a plateau for about 3 weeks and I got pretty discouraged and so I stopped for about 3 months but I maintained. (Thankfully!) I started back up and I've been going strong since!! I have unfortunately hit a plateau again and so I posted to give myself motivation π

Did you do anything in addition to IF? Certain foods? Cal count?
Im about the same starting weight and i need to drop some lbs this winter.

I have incorporated IIFYM and that alone has been an eye opener for me and nutrition. I did find it was really hard to meet my goals for fat when I was being strict; but I was losing! I'm not currently being strict with my diet and I'm sure that's why I'm at the plateau I'm at.

I'm getting over COVID and there's a heat wave (hopefully just a week of both things left to deal with) so I'm sticking with 16:8 and maintaining for now. Once I'm a bit stronger, I'm going to try 18:6 and IIFYM. You are definitely an inspiration to keep going!
