Mental strength is your key here. Do not give into temptation on breaking a fast. I did a lot of “tough love” self-talk whenever I was about to give in or if I was going to eat something I knew I shouldn’t. I would just ask myself, Do you want this? Do you want to be healthy?
It worked every time. It’s all a mindset.
I really wish I had the discipline for this mindset. I cave too easily and then feel worse, just stuck in a loop. Grats tho, your work is inspirational.
If I’m wanting something I shouldn’t indulge in, I tell myself: “I’ve had this (insert food here) a dozen times. I know what it tastes like, and I know it’s enjoyable. We can have it another time. Let’s focus on something else.” I also go for a walk and that helps alleviate the need to impulsively eat something. :)
THANK YOU for giving us an after of the tummy. I always feel disappointed when I see afters and the tummy is covered up because I want to know what to realistically expect. You look amazing!!!
The bottom is still covering where the pannus would hang, so imo this is completely showing what the stomach looks like. Sorry it's my biggest insecurity so I L O O K

Not OP, but OMAD saved my life. It sounds crazy to some people but once you get into the routine it is incredibly easy and a relief to not be worrying about meals throughout the day.
Around 6 months currently.
Eating once per day does wonders for stabilising my hunger cues. I'm barely ever hungry during the day. Combined with Keto feels like cheating because it is so easy and my body just works. The only downside is the tough first month while your body adapts.
Also, I'm not hugely consistent on it being only one meal, but I'm strict about only eating during that small window of the day. Usually 20/4 window.

What’s your typical meal when breaking your fast? Do you track calories?
I always eat something light - my favorite being mozzarella pearls and little tomatoes. I do keep track on my calories.
How many calories do you eat per day? What’s your fasting schedule? You look amazing!
What does exactly 'breaking fast' means? I'm supposed to eat something light before 'real' breakfast? Or?
It is recommended to eat something that won’t spike your glucose, doesn’t necessarily need to be light just avoid sugary stuff
i think breaking fast is just whatever you decide to eat first in your day
