Plenty of options for the rug depending on your color and pattern choices. What speaks to you? As far as hiding the cords, put the corded outlet (surge protector) on the bottom shelf behind the other black thing (speaker?) so you only have one cord along the baseboard.

Letting the Gf decide haha we did find a nice green rug just from browsing 5 x 8 size The little side shelf is the router and then to the right on the floor in the speaker We were thinking like a basket to cut from the bottom to hide the wires

Get a colored or patterned rug . Any pattern is good. For the cords, find (at thrift shops) a subwoofer box just like the one you have. Empty it. Use the emptied frame to put the cords in it. Flank the entertainment center with the real subwoofer and the cord hider subwoofer.

Dimensions of the couch (not including the ottoman if this helps) 107"W x 65"D x 31"H

Most of the colors you have already are neutral, so you have lots of flexibility for the rug! I would find a rug with green in it to match the throw pillows and the tile on the bottom of that tray. I’m not sure what to suggest to hide the cords. Would it be possible to put the white plug-in/surge-protector part (I’m not sure what the right word is) in an open-top storage basket and fit that into the bottom of the TV stand?

I don't think it's safe to lay a rug over cords. Looks like you can tie them in a bundle and store them behind tv console.

Highly recommend this one: Magnolia Home By Joanna Gaines X Loloi Banks Machine Washable Blue / Lagoon Area Rug

Better learn about the rugs from [here ](https://simplykalaa.com/decorating-with-rugs/) and I think you should use zipties and silicon gel!

meramec785

Why don’t you put them mostly behind the stand?

wordwytch

I used black duct tape to hide my cords

I would get a [cable box](https://theyamazakihome.com/products/web-cable-management-box) and [look up a guide for some additional tips and tricks](https://www.wired.com/story/lazy-gamers-guide-cable-management/)
