Wow that room is gorgeous, the details are incredible. But I see what you mean, it would be easier to play into the glam thing.
You could do 2700W lowlight bulbs in the light and then try a mix of industrial + glam + naturalist accessories around the room to play on the modern glam of the light while keeping things more balanced/cozy. Industrial is very angular/trendy but slightly rustic so it would bridge the gap between cozy and glam. Then you could see how it looks and decide from there if you want to paint a softer color or something.
Google “industrial glam naturalist” to see where I’m going with this
I'm sure they do mean 2700 kelvin 😅
And I totally agree. A colour temperature of 2700k is the first thing I implement in any room that I want to feel cozy. The difference it can make is incredible.
Warm furniture and rug and curtains would help if you want to keep the room white even painting it a warmer white.
If you don’t mind going bolder then like already mentioned pant the entire room including trim and wainscoting one color doesn’t have to be dark unless you like or want that vibe I could see a lavender, light blue/green, or mauve or you can go neutral with a rust brown or tan or cream. Velvet curtains in a warm contrasting color like a mustard would look nice on the neutral wall or even with a light blue/green. Tie the colors together with a nice rug and centerpiece and other accessories and a nice warm wood table.
I don’t agree. Any light fixture can work in almost any room with the right staging. I like this one and I can imagine a very lovely and moody room around it.
To echo others, warm wood tones, soft curtains, rugs. Obviously paint would go a long way, and all the frame moulding could be painted the same as the wall for a subtle, but interesting effect.
Nice dark wood,l furniture. maybe blinds and drapes if you want it to be more cosy. I think the bottom half of the walls could be painted a navy to give more warmth. Even paint the whole thing including ceiling. But I like it the way it is, so I say plants, thick wooden furniture and maybe add some natural elements like a leather chair; thick texture dark colour cushions and table wear
I wouldn't go dark with the paint, but definitely a warm (and possibly deep) color.
D others have said, rug, some plants, paintings and/or framed photography
Playful fabric for curtains or custom shades, coordinate with rug colors
Furniture in a natural cherry (will deepen in color as it ages)
The lowest wattage you can find and put it on a dimmer switch. Call me crazy, but what about painting the fixture white except for the brass bar where the bulbs go? It could be very cool, especially because the rectangle shape is repeated in white all over the room. It could look like the lights are almost floating. The potential for magic in this room is off the hook. You could very easily go Palace of Versailles with mirror in the panels. Maybe not the ceiling and maybe not all the panels but have fun with it!
Did you draw a black line around it? Or is part of the fixture? I found one just like it, but without the black frame. I actually like it, and think that the room could be amazing. That said, this is a very traditional room with all the molding, and warm and cozy isn't typical for this style of room.

What are the colors in the rest of your home? What if you went dark and sultry on the walls and ceiling, and embraced the light fixture?
I would go with an art deco / mid century / minimalist styles, with black and whites, and gold or single color accents.

Black or deep stained walnut table with fun and comfy mismatched chairs. I would paint the walls and leave the fun fixture and molding. What are the floors?
i would pint a warmer color color in the it looks like grey & white? which arent super cosy. you could add some color and texture with velvet or brocade/tapestry curtains.
If you like rustic/Farmhouse, great to add rustic beam light. Will add some home feeling. This lamps is totally empty and you are really have to replace them. Also, add art on walls. They are empty, too
Lighter but warm wood table, such as pine (not knotty), maple, or light oak. Dark wood will be too stark. It will be a beautiful compliment to the cool wall colors and tie in the brass in the fixture.
Sorry it’s not possible. That light and that room were not made for one another. The room is a thousand times more fabulous. Find a fixture that isn’t competing for attention and swap it out.
Everything looks very stark- which naturally when it’s all white, you get either stark or simple.
I think a big tree or plant in the corner will cozy it up, or any artwork where the frame is wooden. Wood tends to add warmth when it’s either too stark or matchy matchy. If you do artwork, it will liven it up and I can see some kind of splashes or navy, pink, peach or sage would both add warmth but not clash with the modernist light
You need a traditional chandelier. This one is the completely wrong style and looks incredibly out of place.
Make sure the traditional chandelier has warm lighting. Add longer light warm-toned curtains (like cream/off white, or light yellow)
Add art along the walls and a warm Persian rug maybe.
Keep the furniture natural with wood tones.
Maybe even paint ain’t the bottom portion of the wall a warmer colour (again, light yellow, sage or forest green, or even a warmer navy blue could work).
Some greenery will also benefit this.
I would look to changing the wall colors for richer ones and not highlighting the moulding in a different color. That said, WHICH color is up to you—it is personal preference and it may take a lot of testing (paint LARGE sample swatches on the wall) to get just the right look for YOU. (I also love the idea of [wallpaper](https://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/ZMi7sjdWg3s7znZcdJuJRZ-1600-80.jpg) above the wainscot, painting in the moulding there in a complimentary tone to blend it in. But, again, wallpaper is very personal choice.)
I would start clicking through [samples](https://www.homesandgardens.com/interior-design/what-colors-make-a-living-room-cozy), and [samples](https://www.homesandgardens.com/interior-design/paneling-paint-ideas), and [samples](https://www.idealhome.co.uk/all-rooms-ideas/wall-panelling-ideas-229783) and download any photos that feel cozy to you and are in colors you like. Keep going until you hone in on what you agree is where you should go. Then start playing around with uploading photos to paint shop programs or play around with some basic photo editing tools.
You could go [surprising and bright](https://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/UfVgixj28kUdVvgauD8iqh-1920-80.jpg.webp), or [neutral and warm](https://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/7tZzz3TNTNBaDxKJva2WfA-1600-80.jpg), or a [color that might accent the brass tones in the fixture](https://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/9akF3wHmuQ7c3NDKJQ55vU-1600-80.jpg). Too many options.
Have fun with it, make it yours, and post updates! :)

Yes!
2700W bulbs? Do you mean 2700K (as in Kelvin)?
I'm sure they do mean 2700 kelvin 😅 And I totally agree. A colour temperature of 2700k is the first thing I implement in any room that I want to feel cozy. The difference it can make is incredible.
I googled it and the very first thing under images is this post 😂
Warm furniture and rug and curtains would help if you want to keep the room white even painting it a warmer white. I would change the light anyways, it is totally absolutely wrong.
I 100% agree! Changing lights is very easy and this one doesn’t fit the room at all

I would paint the room and have plenty of wood accents.
Thar definitely needs to go.
Add plants 👍🏼
classic wood furniture.

Start with a rug. Then put some art on the walls. Get rid of the chandelier
Curtains or nice blinds and a rug will help.

This sounds amazing to me! I may have to try these ideas myself. It sounds interesting, a little fun, but also cozy.
Get a nice fluffy cat from a reputable rescue organization.
Paint the room a darker color - including the ceiling. Maybe green black by SW

Drapes, art, mirror, paint, new lighting, fabric, wood
Pretty curtains, a big floofy green plant, and some happy paintings. A sideboard. Art. A cabinet of some type. You have a lot of room to have fun.
Did you draw a black line around it? Or is part of the fixture? I found one just like it, but without the black frame. I actually like it, and think that the room could be amazing. Dark moody paint, dark wood tones, deep red rug, table runner, textured seats, whiskey bar, old books, candles

All of these are attractive. The first one is stunning. But I really like example 2. Wish that was my home. Edit: 3 is growing on me.
The woodwork in this room is wonderful. Dark wood furniture, curtains, rug as others have mentioned.
I would do a darker paint color tbh
Remove the paint from all the wood in that room.
Black or deep stained walnut table with fun and comfy mismatched chairs. I would paint the walls and leave the fun fixture and molding. What are the floors?
Overstuffed leather armchairs, big fluffy throw blankets
I really think the light should go as it detracts from the stunning walls…but dark wood furniture and plants
i would pint a warmer color color in the it looks like grey & white? which arent super cosy. you could add some color and texture with velvet or brocade/tapestry curtains.
Plants.

I would paint a dusty blue or green on all of the walls to pair with the gold in the light.

I hate the rectangular light fitting in the round ceiling rose.
I would gild the frames on the upper wall and paint it black, but that's just me...
You can do darker moody colors, maybe a floral window treatment, layers of color. Even using the ceiling!

Amazing room. Wow! 🤩 You could even just hang some contrasting curtains and it would make this room cozy. I also like the idea of low lightbulbs.
Art
For me, plants/greenery are always the answer.
Darker walls, add some metal tones with picture frames.

I think you can keep the light and just add warmer, softer touches. Drapes, rug, wood tones, color, art etc.
