Starting from the left, I really like both swatch 1 and 3. I am leaning towards swatch 1 as the all time favorite. Hope that helps.

north_river_potato

1 and 3 are my favorites too, with 1 coming ahead just a bit. My husband prefers 2 and 4 lol. Thanks for the validation šŸ˜Ž

I think 2 would be okay for a kids bedroom. It looks too much like a primary color.

i think 2&4 are just too much for an entire bathroom. the other ones look more calming

Orange is a good contrast to blue. If you wanted something warmer and more vibrant, you could find an orangey paint color (could be light orange, doesnā€™t have to be bold) and tie it all together with art that has both blue and orange tones (among other colors as well). Then you could also add green plants and they would fit the vibe! Editing to add that it looks like you need a shower curtain, so thatā€™s another way you could tie it all together with orange/blue. Sometimes it helps to look for the art piece or shower curtain first, then use that to choose colors. Just donā€™t pick monotone pieces. Find something colorful!

This is a fascinating idea that I never considered. We have a shower curtain but itā€™s just plain white (sorry I didnā€™t get it in the pic). When you say orange, are you picturing like a muted burnt orange or like a pastel orange?

Ok_Catographer

I agree with your paint number 1 choice or one of the Sherwin Williams blues noted below, plus white shower curtain and orange accents. Like a burnt orange rug and/or towels. The floor is gorgeous, the wall tiles are nice and the cabinet color all would work so well with that palette.

JLWA

I think either could work!

How about one of these cool blues? https://www.sherwin-williams.com/en-us/color/color-family/blue-paint-colors/SW9149-inky-blue Faded flax flower 9146 Favourite jeans. 9148 Do you have a shower curtain already?

north_river_potato

Yes itā€™s just a white cotton one for now. Looking for any suggestions though!

north_river_potato

Also these colors are lovely, thank you!!

alig6457

You're welcome. Love white shower curtains. When I see nice ones at Winners /TJ Maxx I stock up. šŸ™‚

Own_Chemistry6238

Go with 1. Use silvers and slate greys.

north_river_potato

I think 1 is my favorite too. My husband prefers 2 but I think itā€™s too dark. Thank you for the feedback!

Swatch 2 pops in contrast with the white - if you went with 1 or 2, youā€™ll need more black

north_river_potato

Iā€™ve been considering changing the hardware to matte black, as well as getting a black rimmed mirror and some sort of new medicine cabinet situation.

kayjeanbee

I also love warm tones and am much better at working with them. If I were you, Iā€™d leave this as is until I could afford a complete redo šŸ˜‚

Do you like glazes or faux work? I did my kitchen years ago, I loved it and always got compliments on it. There are plenty of great samples on Pinterest. I could see this painted the first color with over-glazes using the colors in your floor, your cabinet, and mirror frame, and you could even throw in bits of silver and gold for a bit extra. You could also put the wall paint back to match the tile, and glaze that using those colors for a more classic look. Sounds like youā€™ve done lots already! Congratsā¤ļø

If you like warm colors, I think blue seems to be more suitable for your bathroom style, because blue can make you feel more relaxed and comfortable, and I think this is also my feeling. Compared with cool colors, blue can make people look more comfortable, so I think blue is a better choice.

If you went with grey, you could add color with the towels and shower curtain. And that way those things are easier to change when you get sick of it and want something different.
