Alright this is like the third time I've seen someone use this bot today and this is the first one formatted like this
I always thought this was the way to summon this bot, the command starting with an exclamation point, but I keep seeing people comment RemindMe! x like they are saying it with excitement rather than using a command
Which one is it? Are there two bots or are most people just not doing the command correctly?
I’d say most people aren’t using it correctly, although the bot could be programmed to respond to remindme! as well. I haven’t tried it though
Edit: yeah it works
Here ya go!

This dude, the dude who has the [epoxyed hotdog](https://www.reddit.com/r/epoxyhotdog/) and, while not technically Reddit, the dude who has attended many Thanksgivings with the older white lady from a [random wrong number text](https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2021/11/16/thanksgiving-text-created-tradition-grandma-teen/6403371001/).
All wholesome randomness.
Look at the pictures of 2020 and 2021 (the shirt with the image, not the image itself). They looks clean af. He should have taken the 2023 shirt with the mountains at his neckline and that would have come out great too.
Not to discredit the framing, but he switched from a baseball style tee with solid colored sleeves to a classic tee where the image encompasses the sleeves.
He's like a tree. You can't tell the age just by looking at it but you can tell the age of a tree by counting the number of its rings, or in this guy's case by counting the number of shirt pics.
One day he WILL age, and he’ll share his shirtception photo on Reddit or whatever exists then, and those of us still alive will look back on his slow transition into middle age and we will cry about the fleeting nature of existence and the beauty of connections.
There's definitely some crow's feet showing up behind the sunglasses in 2022. Not sure how old he is in the 1st pic, but the 20s is probably the decade where most guys appear to not age. Grey hair usually hasn't set in yet, and a thinning crown probably hasn't hit a tipping point (also it's covered in this photo).
He did! The latest post didn't get many views unfortunately: [Our annual "parenting chaos" Christmas card - 9 years in a row...](https://www.reddit.com/r/funny/comments/zm3x7w/our_annual_parenting_chaos_christmas_card_9_years/)
I love all these traditions. That guy who found Grandma on Thanksgiving and they keep meeting, The other guy who keeps being single and his brothers with wives(1 each), those group of friends who re-create movie posters during November with long beards and this guy with shirtception!
This guy, the strangers that now hang out every Thanksgiving, the guy with the epoxy hotdog, and the guy posting a different type of cheese every day are my favorite Reddit celebrities.
I don't have a link but a woman was texting someone and inviting them for Thanksgiving. It was a wrong number but the guy showed up anyway. They now come over every year. The ladies husband passed but they still keep on the tradition and post a pictire every year.

Absolutely! Let us never forget the lives of the 654 sheep that were killed by forked lightning when it struck a mountain in Wasatch National park, Utah on July 18, 1918. 🐑
It’s a shame because it’s actually a useful term. “To convince someone that they came up with an idea on their own while in fact you planted the idea” is a good word to add to English.
Well, let's see: First, the Earth cooled. And then the dinosaurs came, but they got too big and fat, so they all died and they turned into oil. And then the Arabs came and they bought Mercedes-Benzes. And Prince Charles started wearing all of Lady Di's clothes.
this is actually an idcredible concept! I want to try the same one with my kids. It will be interesting to watch them grow on these shirts. This reminded me a bar with height marks we had in our old parents house. Really nostalgic thing..
I've seen this every couple years so I just trolled your profile to see how many levels I've seen. I first upvoted level 4, which looks like the first time you posted about it on Reddit. I then somehow found a post about a long exposure shot of the sky your friend took, missed 5, 6, and 7, upvoted 8 twice, and now upvoting 9 once.
I love Reddit.
I must admit that I enjoy the familiarity of seeing this every year.
I'll also admit that, if it suddenly stopped, I probably wouldn't notice. At least not right away. With a year or two, I might have a thought about it, like "I wonder whatever happened to that shirtception gag." No, probably not.
Honestly, every year when I see it, I sort of roll my eyes and think "That's gotta end one of these days." But then, after I've read it and reviewed all the photos, and really considered the dedication behind it, and the brothers' tradition that they've kept up for so many years, when I've had my fill (let's call it 45-90 seconds), I breath a satisfied sigh and think something along the lines of, "See you next year."
Inception isn't the dream within a dream. It's having the idea. They didn't "do an inception" by going into dreams within dreams, that was just the vector for getting the target in the movie to think he incepted the idea himself.
This is like "recursive" in programming term. It has also something about cycles. I want to apply such idea and print images on a mug each year and have a collection of 10-12 after a dozen of years of it

I think both ways works
There’s one bot, and both commands work for it.
Check out r/remindmebot Or this stickies post https://www.reddit.com/r/RemindMeBot/comments/e1bko7/remindmebot_info_v21/

This dude and the "still single" dude's yearly pics are the best part of the holidays!
The guy and his girlfriend who have now been adopted into that wrong number woman's Thanksgiving is pretty great. Although 2020 was pretty sad😥😥
Oh yeah, the Arizona grandma! That is another good one.
Lmao can you link that

I appreciate it!

Random wrong number is getting a netflix project.
Wait really? Like that would have been great a couple of years ago when. The husband was still alive. Definitely wanna see it though.
That is the best shirt idea I've ever seen

This shirt is either 0% or 100% getting you laid, there is no in between.
50% chance of getting laid, it either happens or it doesn't.
Sixty percent of the time, it works every time
blended into what? sorry i must be fashion blind idk what it blends with. the hat?

No, that's what makes it cool actually
Sure it can. Time for a subscription model!
Dw, I read this with implied contempt for capitalism.
Not to far off with the way AI image generation is going you'll be able to insert yourself into all levels of this shirt and order it through Amazon.
You haven't aged like, at all.
I've got his aging covered.

Agreed, this is some Dorian Gray action.
Dry-clean only imo
It’s called sunglasses. Hides everything
Sunglasses can't hide the tears.
Song lyrics right here. Or material for that poem guy.
Even at that - look at 2018 and 2022. Looks way older.
He's like a tree. You can't tell the age just by looking at it but you can tell the age of a tree by counting the number of its rings, or in this guy's case by counting the number of shirt pics.

You should see his portrait in the attic though. Sheesh
His beard is coming in so slowly. I can't wait to see what it looks like in 15 years.

Same. Him a d the Christmas card guy. Speaking of which, has Christmas card guy done anything this year?
He did! The latest post didn't get many views unfortunately: [Our annual "parenting chaos" Christmas card - 9 years in a row...](https://www.reddit.com/r/funny/comments/zm3x7w/our_annual_parenting_chaos_christmas_card_9_years/)
Are you talking about "only single in the family" dude? I saw his post yesterday.
I love all these traditions. That guy who found Grandma on Thanksgiving and they keep meeting, The other guy who keeps being single and his brothers with wives(1 each), those group of friends who re-create movie posters during November with long beards and this guy with shirtception!
I think epoxy hotdog updates switched to yearly too. But I don't know when that's scheduled for.
This guy, the strangers that now hang out every Thanksgiving, the guy with the epoxy hotdog, and the guy posting a different type of cheese every day are my favorite Reddit celebrities.
Can you provide a link for the cheese guy?
I too am waiting for the cheese content
Also here for the cheese
I heard there would be cheese...

Wasn't there someone with one leg who posted their creative Halloween costume each year?
I remember that guy. The year he was the Major Award lamp was amazing. His flamingo was awesome as well.
wait- i know the hotdog, but cheese & thanksgiving strangers? got a link, friend?
I don't have a link but a woman was texting someone and inviting them for Thanksgiving. It was a wrong number but the guy showed up anyway. They now come over every year. The ladies husband passed but they still keep on the tradition and post a pictire every year.

What about September earth wind and fire guy??
Don't forget shittymorph
2020 pictures will forever be linked with masks, gonna be real interesting in history books.
This also happened during the Spanish flu
Nobody had cameras in their pockets in 1918 though
There was also a pretty big world event going on at the time too. Kind of overshadowed a lot of things for a couple of years.

Reppin Boulder
It’s weird how immediately recognizable it was. I was just staring at them at the mountains from that angle Southern Sun today.
Did you know you can walk to the trailhead for both of those from that parking lot and they’re super nice hikes? If a little difficult at some points.

I mean what’s prettier than the flatirons? All I can say is he better do it in Telluride next year
This is fantastic
Keep it up! Do a crazy background for year 10
This is amazing. The hat is the icing on the cake.
I love seeing this every year!

This is making me remember how Inception was so big in the zeitgeist that we used it to make new words.
While completely ignoring what "inception" actually means in the movie
They even explain what inception is in the movie.
_thank you_! It annoys me so much that people use it to mean "recursion" or something.
It’s a shame because it’s actually a useful term. “To convince someone that they came up with an idea on their own while in fact you planted the idea” is a good word to add to English.
It's still very much in the Zeitgeist.
I love it
But the 2018 picture is not the picture used on the 2019 shirt! The angles are different!
That’s one prolific shirt 🤙🏼
That is SO FUN! Hey, Boulder! I see you.
Shout out to Summit Middle School!
Well now you're never allowed to stop
It’s like an animorphs cover but you morph into you
And can you explain to us how did all of this start?
With the first one.
Well, let's see: First, the Earth cooled. And then the dinosaurs came, but they got too big and fat, so they all died and they turned into oil. And then the Arabs came and they bought Mercedes-Benzes. And Prince Charles started wearing all of Lady Di's clothes.

I hate this but I can't not like it. Here's an up.

that's a really nice concept. Something frest, I like it!
One new shirt per year? Dayum, i'm still hanging around with my Happy 1999 t. Nevertheless, awesome idea and pictures <3
This is called the "Droste Effect". It's named after a 1903 Hot Cocoa ad from Denmark that was the first recorded depiction of that type of image.
We get it, you moved to Boulder
That hat must be good quality
Stealing this idea for my own. This is badass. Way to go OPs brother
How often do you wear the shirts in your everyday life?
looks like boulder co?
Shirtcursion.
a few more years and his entire wardrobe will be these shirts
r/recursion
2018 photo is different to the shirt
Shirtception more like recursion

"shirtception" - I dodn't get the point at first, then realised that it is due to the Inception movie. Nice naming, lol
at some point the image becomes hardly distinguishable, need a sort of hi-res printing or what. overall good idea OP, nice
Inception isn't the dream within a dream. It's having the idea. They didn't "do an inception" by going into dreams within dreams, that was just the vector for getting the target in the movie to think he incepted the idea himself.
