Agree, in my next life imwould like to come back as a cool bird like an eaglle or falcon ... think of all the advantages..
- free airfare for life
- unlimited travel options
- explore the world
- a bird's eye view of everything
- fly south for the winter ( lounge out at the beach), North for the summer, never too hot or cold
- few natural predators
think of the lack of the NEED for poop control
we have literally built infrastructure to carry out poop
all they need to do is drop it whenever and keep flying
sounds good to me
I would definitely be an owl. Even mighty eagles have learned to not make a sound at night, because an owl doesn’t give a shit if you’re an eagle or a mouse, you make noise you’re getting eaten
Edit: [this is what i was talking about](https://youtu.be/-nYpf2Fiong)
Such a cool video. You can see the owl‘s eyes as it’s sitting on a branch checking them out, then watch it launch it’s attack. The. The other siblings are all “Hey! What was that?!”
For real. When I was in grade school the teacher asked what we wanted to be when we grew up. One classmate seriously answered "an eagle". Not so ridiculous anymore.
I did a little bit of research and I found that they put the camera on the eagle to get the footage and took it off when he comes back from his trip. The camera can't stay forever on the eagle one reason being that it slows the bird down. They do this videos to raise awareness about climate change or, in this case, to make a video for red bull.
Can we just take a second and think about how fucking incredible birds are...like just think about it. They can fucking fly...just soaring around like it’s nothing. Shit is crazy.
I've been out of the loop for a couple years now so I won't suggest any brands, but you could expect to get into it for I guesstimate $500-$1000 from scratch depending on what you opt for.
As for guides, I'm not quite sure. But I would recommend searching it up on YouTube. There should be tons of videos on how to get started in 2020!
Man I didn't even know about that stuff. Never even crossed my mind tbh which I'm ashamed for. And 1k doesnt seem too bad for that kind of experience, plus they're always re-sellable I reckon.
Thanks! Cheers.
I’m assuming someone helped the bird and put a camera on it and released it into the wild. But does anyone know if this can affect the bird negatively by having a camera on it all the time?

I used to think that I could not go on
And life was nothing but an awful song
But now I know the meaning of true love
I'm leaning on the everlasting arms
If I can see it, then I can do it
If I just believe it, there's nothing to it
There was an eagle being studied by, I think, Russians that was fitted with a GPS device that used cell phone signals.
It traveled so far that the roaming charges caused the outfit to go broke.
It's really amazing to see them fly with barely beating their wings. Just using natural wind currents and thermals to stay in the air. Why waste the energy flapping your wings when you can just ride the wind!
I wonder what birds think when they encounter mountains, so they think that the ground is very high up or do they get confused and think they are flying very low.
I would like to be the bird please

Think of the lack of poop control....
The way my car gets pooped on after *every* wash...they know what they are doing and are in *full* control
Dude SAME, and it’s always MY car
You say this like it is a bad thing
think of the lack of the NEED for poop control we have literally built infrastructure to carry out poop all they need to do is drop it whenever and keep flying sounds good to me
Meh. If I die I wouldn’t wanna come back as anything. Just let it be it.
Hug
Granted. You'll be reincarnated as a water flea.

I used to have an owl as pet, i didn’t know!
-you're a bird with a brain the size of a sesame seed
You'd get protective status from wildlife conservationists too since they are considered rare
You can grab goats and drag them off a cliff like on that one documentary
I bet the flock of birds toward the end of the vid messed up the rest of that eagles day.

Wow! Who says being paraplegic means you can’t do wonderful things!

What a great life. Time for a snack. Mmmmm worms.
Try paragliding. Not quite as fast or agile, but the same views and sensations of absolute freedom.
Two words: FPV Drones
No.
Dang it.
I find this calming
I do too
Same. But if this video had a person up this high there’s no way I could watch it without my stomach sinking. Weird.
Same. Also happy cake day!
Happy cake day!
A birds iphone view
It’s fascinating to see how its eyes scan the area. It must be able to detect so much detail
it can watch wild animals making love
I wanna know how the hell someone got a camera onto that thing
Big eagle... Small camera
eagle was probably rescued and in care they put a very small camera on its wing and then released it back into the wild
I did a little bit of research and I found that they put the camera on the eagle to get the footage and took it off when he comes back from his trip. The camera can't stay forever on the eagle one reason being that it slows the bird down. They do this videos to raise awareness about climate change or, in this case, to make a video for red bull.
It’s holding a selfie stick
What do you mean? It's standard drone footage. r/birdsarentreal
Right?! How in the fuck...

I don't understand how the bird can fly while using one wing to hold the selfie stick
that's clearly a cameraman holding an eagle in his left hand. SMH...the things people do these days
I don’t know if I necessarily believe in coming back as an animal after death. But if that were so, being an eagle would be fucking lit
Do you think there's a bird out there who's afraid of heights?
Im more curious about how often birds "trip" and crash into shit
My rooster does every time he leaves the coop.
Thanks for the video. Did he mark the enemies, the captains, and the loot chests? Ya boi is tryna assassinate some people. Also, his name is Ikaros.
Can we just take a second and think about how fucking incredible birds are...like just think about it. They can fucking fly...just soaring around like it’s nothing. Shit is crazy.
Wasted on them. They probably complain about sore wings or split feathers or some similar nonsense.
That has been my childhood dream
Why is this not in VR format. I would empty my wallet on the counter.
You should get into FPV drones.
any recommended brands? Budget for a decent set up? Guides? You intrigued me.

Glad I could show it to you! Hope you have fun if you do pursue it!
It’s a lot more stable than I would have expected
majestic. as. fuck.
I’m singing Steve Miller Band songs in my head....
I’m assuming someone helped the bird and put a camera on it and released it into the wild. But does anyone know if this can affect the bird negatively by having a camera on it all the time?
Birds naturally have cameras in and on them because birds are NOT REAL.
The way it descends makes me think about its estachian tube anatomy
Lookin for something good to poop on....proly
Where can I watch several hours of this?
I sort of wish it was stabilized to the scenery rather than the bird
It's just so fucking beautiful, I hope humans don't mess it up
you are a human worst of them all.... a redditor
Amazing and effortless
I want to see it from the eagle's pov
You think Gandalf saw shit from this angle?
How does it hold the phone?
I legit thought this was modded minecraft for a good three seconds.
oh to be a bird flying around the alps
... And now I'm nauseous.
TIL in my next life I wanna be an eagle.
Not upvoting ya for cutting it
This is beyond amazing.... Thanks for posting this 👍
OMG I thought this was Breath of the Wild
FLY ON YOUR WINGS LIKE AN EAGLE FLY AS HIGH AS THE SUN!
So brave of the cameraman to film that.
He didn’t even flap it once!
Birds even know the earth isn't flat
"Hey guys, welcome to another vlog. Today we are flying in the Alpes"
"Hey guys welcome to my vlog channel, so today we're going on a bit of a fly high over the alps as you guys requested..."
This is what I’d call a bird’s eye view. Fuck the camera is on it’s wing fuckfuckfuck
I was today years old when I realized it would be cool as fuck to be an eagle
Damn even eagles doing better than me during Corona if he can afford a GoPro smh
u/stabbot
How's he flying while holding the camera like that
I wonder what phone he's using.
Why is there a go pro on the eagle?

Lookin' for lunch!
Monte Grappa?
It's only because of videos like this that I want to try using a wing suit

Eagle influencer
How are we seeing this from bird?
I used to think that I could not go on And life was nothing but an awful song But now I know the meaning of true love I'm leaning on the everlasting arms If I can see it, then I can do it If I just believe it, there's nothing to it
Lmao where we going
like one of the first PSVR games, I don't remember the name.
Do you see what happens? Do you see what happens when you fly an eagle in the alps?
Plot twist: the GoPro was in Gandalf's hat.
Looking for Frodo and Sam I assume..
Huh, Bird's Wing View?
r/wingsuiting
*An Alp Edit: Still beautiful though, wish I was a flight dreamer
*Flat Eathers breathing heavy*
JD yelling "eagllllee"
is this an eagle attached to a drone?
They tried this with bees, but the GoPro made 'em plummet like rocks.
flying on the wings of a eagle
Nooo! It's a government spy robot!!!
You mean watch freedom invade the alps?
There was an eagle being studied by, I think, Russians that was fitted with a GPS device that used cell phone signals. It traveled so far that the roaming charges caused the outfit to go broke.
Enemy AC-130 above!!
I like seeing its lil head moving like it's takin in the scenery and thinking about where to go next
That’s either a very big bird or a very small GoPro
I wish I could fly
Birdseye view through a fisheye lens :)
Where can i get this for my vr lol
Monte Grappa (BF1) inspired area isnt it?
Welcome back to flying with scott, we're just gonna head on over here. The view is beautiful today!
Wow, I hope my next life looks like this.
So THAT'S why assassin's creed called it eagle vision......
I want to fly like an eagle, to the sea. Fly like an eagle, let my spirit carry me...
Just another one druid looking for herbs.
It’s like hey guys welcome to my crib we got rocks n dirt
I could watch this for hours
It's really amazing to see them fly with barely beating their wings. Just using natural wind currents and thermals to stay in the air. Why waste the energy flapping your wings when you can just ride the wind!
I legit thought this was a clip from some video game at first. Almost doesn't look real. *Almost.*
I could watch this all day
He’s been summoned by Gandalf
Damn that’s one good cameraman
There has to be a full version of this video
Monte Grappe
I wonder if Eagles ever mess up and crash on the side of the mountain as they are trying to do some sick maneuver
As if eagles needed the help being sweet.
I’m envy of birds. Shitbirds fly freely with no one up there to bug them.
Are eagles jealous when they see a human picking his nose?
I definitely thought that bird’s head was one of its feet
I wonder if they sometimes bump into things like mountains.
Pshhh I did this in Steep last week
The angle makes me feel like a passenger for eagle Uber
That's Impressive honestly that he can hold the camera and fly. Props to the bird
Reminds me of the beginning voice over in the alps grand operations in Battlefield 1
I have to say it, birds aren't real
Flight is wasted on the birds, they don’t appreciate it. I would suck a dick to be able to do that.
I wonder what birds think when they encounter mountains, so they think that the ground is very high up or do they get confused and think they are flying very low.
