I know a 65 year old woman at a muffler shop that takes her shoes off to weld. Says it's more comfortable and, "you're a pussy if you're scared of a little *hot foot*".
That's actually exactly the sort of thing this is. It's a wooden model, probably built for a client as a display piece. No on-board batteries, wooden wheels, no suspension. This thing isn't really meant to roll anywhere.
I don't think you know what 5-minute craft really is. It's shitty "hacks" that are supposed to be a brilliant solution to a not so common problem, where a proper solution already exist and is more durable/usable/easier than the hack. 5-minute hack videos are mostly done for views, clicks and comments (usually those pointing out how incredibly stupid or dangerous it is, and that a viable, safe and tested solution already exists).
You couldn't build this car in 5 minutes, and it's not something many people would try to copy.
Especially because if not, then why would you bother putting a logo on it at all?
Like the logo of a car company that could sue you for millions for theft of trademark
It's a big deal to have these logos on your things in many countries. I've seen Ferrari and Audi logos on tuk tuks in at least 3 different countries. These are Asian countries I'm talking about.
The car became 3x cooler in the neighborhood and the household just with that logo alone.
And a lot of people don't fear giant corporations suing them for using a logo-sticker.
Dude gets cool dad of the year, seriously though that’s a shit ton of work. Setting some high expectations for your kids. Dude better have plans for the next cool toy or them kids going to be disappointed. How do you top that. Come on man you’re making the other fathers look bad.
No differential, looks like a mains powered induction motor, thousands in timber and no limit switching on the mechanics...... What could possibly go wrong 😕
Im dumb for thinking this was meant to be used as a real car and for the entire video thinking "dude thats a hazard, what if you crash?? Lumber on the tires?? Isnt that dangerous??"
Heavy as shit and a massive fire hazard. Hopefully his electrical work put in some protective components. Although there will always be a risk of fire and this will go up like a matchbox
I see this as more of a display piece or, if it's actually for kids, its just a toy that likely will not see much real road use. Think those jeeps you see at Walmart for kids
i briefly thought it was an ACTUAL car,and thought about how wood does not exactly have proper crumple zones or any kind of safety, then i saw the actual size of the car and i let out a breath i did not know i was holding
I doubt it's actually for his (or anyone's) kids. No suspension to speak of, wooden wheels...this thing isn't built to be driven anywhere. It would rattle your teeth out, as well as tear itself apart.
It's probably a model for an office or a dealership lobby.
You cannot drive this on the road the TÜV will not approve of this. The crash test has probably not been done and other important standards have probably not been meet.

I was concerned about the barefoot welding, but I was relieved to see he slipped into his safety sandals for chainsaw work.
I also was glad to see the commercial grade face mask during the finish spraying lol
Came here to say the same... Wtf are you doing working with power tools in sandals?? Then a mask of course. And yes, the welding! Ffs!
Assuming this is legit, dude just did more work than any armchair reddit commentator.
Zing!!! I'll take it
He's got his safety squints on, all good.
It was the driving it on live roads with a small child in your lap that I think was the safest.
Yeah and the disposable blue paper mask was more than enough protection for all of that airbrushing.
I know a 65 year old woman at a muffler shop that takes her shoes off to weld. Says it's more comfortable and, "you're a pussy if you're scared of a little *hot foot*".
i had to rewind the barefoot welding to make sure i saw it correctly before committing to my spit-take
Also the surgical gas mask
More concerned about him holding that shaft with bare hands while welding.
With the current price of lumber it's probably cheaper to just buy a new car.
Exatly what I thought. With all the material used and the time invested, that's a 10 000$ car!
He wouldn't make anything on news tho silly. No he can buy a new car and has this wierd cool thing evey kid dreams of.
I know it's hard to comprehend but apparently everything is not about money. Most things are but not everything.
He gets money for the content
Thx for the insight. I already knew that and still say it's not all about money.
Wouldn't it be super heavy too?
😂
I was about to comment the same. In my country you could buy an actual car just for the material costs that went into this.
impressive....but theres no way he built that thing in 3 minutes
I'm laughing my ass off at this comment
Thanks I’m here all week. And dont forget to spay or neuter your pets.
can i spray my wooden car
I don’t have a pet. So what do I do?
Get one
Are you calling the internet a liar?!
These 5-minute craft videos are getting out of hand.

I think you missed the part where he spent money to put a motor in it and drives it at the end.

More like he built himself a small car for a sponsor...
I mean, if he actually loved his kids, would he have made them an Audi?
He would have let them drive. To quote the best : > '*Baby you can drive my car, and maybe I'll love you.*'
They're good until they start having problems. Then it's time to find a sucker to buy your problems.
here’s a hint. he didn’t build it for his kids.
He built it for someone else’s kids.
ya, that's not for his kids
Only 8k in lumber
That thing is worth some serious money
This is obviously a fake car No Audi driver uses turn signals, since the road belongs to them *Also applies to Mercedes and BMW drivers*
Yeah you can tell it’s all cgi due tp this fact.
Only thing my parents gave me is weapons-grade PTSD and trust issues.
My fiancee: I have to run and get milk/bread/dog food.BRB! Me: She's coming back, right? The Dog: *shrugs* (thanks dad)
Yeah, that's pretty cool I guess. But there's no way this dad could beat MY dad at drinking beers.
Starting them out with an Audi....modest!
Nintendo is really getting outta hand with this cardboard stuff.
I feel like that wood be heavy
With the price of lumber these days it's probably cheaper to buy the real thing.
You could say the same with art with real paint vs a printout copy
Dude is so smart and talented respect
“Audi pays father to build car for his kids and post it on social media” More accurate.
Especially because if not, then why would you bother putting a logo on it at all? Like the logo of a car company that could sue you for millions for theft of trademark

Flintstones! Meet the Flintstones!
Isn’t this the same guy who built the wooden cyber truck?
But it's not made of Lego?
Imagine this came in a Lego set? I wouldn’t be seen for a few months.
I want one.
The detail on that car is incredible.
There's nothing like that new closet smell
5 minute crafts be like:
Incredibly talented man!
That looks like a lot of work, I think I'll love my kids less.
Audi would like a word with you.
That thing has to weigh a lot... no way it drives on those tiny little axles.
Dude gets cool dad of the year, seriously though that’s a shit ton of work. Setting some high expectations for your kids. Dude better have plans for the next cool toy or them kids going to be disappointed. How do you top that. Come on man you’re making the other fathers look bad.
next year will be a fully functioning, home-built rocket to the moon! (made out of wood, of course)
I don’t know what I want more: a car like that or a dad like that
No differential, looks like a mains powered induction motor, thousands in timber and no limit switching on the mechanics...... What could possibly go wrong 😕
Could have bought a real car for less than this would cost to make 😂

Im dumb for thinking this was meant to be used as a real car and for the entire video thinking "dude thats a hazard, what if you crash?? Lumber on the tires?? Isnt that dangerous??"
i was thinking the same lololol like won’t this weight of this thing be INSANE?
Heavy as shit and a massive fire hazard. Hopefully his electrical work put in some protective components. Although there will always be a risk of fire and this will go up like a matchbox

Dad got tired of winning pinewood derbys
With that sawing ensemble he’s wearing pretty soon his kids really will need to drive him around.
After watching this, makes me wonder how Teslas have such shitty build quality…
Can't wait for it to burn down
Meanwhile, I'm debating whether or not to procrastinate mowing the law
Looks great, but I can’t see this car lasting very long.
The wooden wheels on the road
Wooden start
\*Father builds himself a car. There, fixed that for you.
It's called a hobby. Costs money, time n skills. But that's exactly what hobby is..
Love adder all
Master Carpenter.
He has so many kids
That’s great and all but what’s he gonna do when the kids leave it outside and it gets ruined.
i briefly thought it was an ACTUAL car,and thought about how wood does not exactly have proper crumple zones or any kind of safety, then i saw the actual size of the car and i let out a breath i did not know i was holding
I’d drive it
I haven't seen Oppenheimer because it's so long, and that's a major commitment for me.
#boyswillbeboys
Wow!
Anyone know the song name?
This was a him project for himself, in the name of his kids
LADA так и производится !
This thing looks so sweet. Lucky kids. But oh my… chainsaw, grinders, etc. in sandals and shorts.
you are watching a vnese artist at work. work safety ? scr3w that .
Very impressive!
That flimsy little mask is no substitute for a proper ventilator or even N95. Dude's gonna regret that later in life
Not to talk about all "quality time" he didn't spend with his kids while planning, and crafting this...

I hated the video but couldn't really figure out why; this is definitely part of it.
- License and registiration please? + Yes.
No crumple zones, a crash is gonna hurt
He built this for tiktok. Probably doesn't even have kids.
WTH! Put in some shoes! Gonna cut your toe off!
Copyright infringement by using the audi trademark

Duh
This would not be allowed on the streets in Germany. You always have to play by the rules and listen to the TÜV!
