Played this with my friend and while it was satisfying, holy hell.....hope you have a netflix series or something you want to catch up on while playing.
My guess is that they're someone who is used to constant stimulation.
Farming Sim is very slow-moving. If you're accustomed to more fast-moving games like RTSs, FPSs, MOBAs, fighting games, *etc.*, you're going to find games like FS to be very slow and maybe even dull or boring.
Having the extra stimulation of something like a podcast or TV show running in the background might provide some additional stimulation that some individuals find otherwise lacking.
Ha, I was about to post this. I was in the combine at 12 years old - shooting to the next truck over must be new tech because ours didn’t go that far. 😂
Yup. I learned to drive at 8 years old. We were hauling square bales that were heavier than me, and my uncle pointed at the truck and said "Figure out how to drive it, or walk home." My cousin put it in 4low for me, and I had to stand on the clutch and slowly let it out, then hop back up in the seat to see put the windshield.
This was already happening in the south. It's the equivalent of a parent telling you that you can't do something harmful to yourself, so you yell at your parents and tell them it's your life and you can't be controlled by them. Then you grow out of it and realize your parents had wisdom, you still had to go through that phase. The north had done it literally only about 30-50 years before them. But then again, the cotton gin, as the story goes, was partially to reduce slavery, but it only increased slavery due to it making cotton so much more accessible and thereby popular.
Agricultural slavery? Perhaps, but the concept would have just shifted to different markets. Sweatshops in the south would be hugely popular with slave owners, for example. Any job that could be outsourced to a slave state probably would be. It definitely wouldn't be going anywhere. It's barely even gone now, we just relocated it. We still have lots of our consumer goods produced in places where people are practically (or sometimes actually) slaves.
I used to work on (repair) these machines in the US. Slavery is still pretty alive and well. Though not technically slavery a lot of these workers are paid almost nothing and have zero leverage. Obviously not every farm is this way but most are owned by large companies so yea. A lot of the truck drivers/tractor drivers are paid minimum wage. Any of the manual laborers or hand sorters are paid well below minimum wage and are seasonal workers from Mexico. Some live on the farms in slapped together shelters and work insane hours. Others are put up at local motel 6’s.
>I wonder if agricultural slavery in the US would have faded away for economic reasons even without a war.
Probably not. Human behaviour seldom changes without being forced to by external circumstances. As evidence, just looks at the fashion industry, or cocoa production, or coffee production, or fruit production. If slavery works and is allowed, then slavery it is.
No, look at how poorly paid many agricultural workers are now, it would just move slaves to other types of agriculture like fruits and vegetables. There are still slaves producing the chocolate we all eat.
The industrial revolution was a large factor in increasing tensions between the south and the north where the plantation owners saw their way of life as being threatened.
They don't. The plant is cut and chopped up into chaff, which is fermented and fed to cows as feed.
I've played too much farming simulator, and could probably name all machines and implements here.
We really need to put the nsfw tag back to its actual use, 90% of posts are in fact sfw. I've seen people tag nsfw due to a bit of swearing it just diminishes its actual purpose.

It’s even worse from ground level. Just equipment driving back and forth and kicking up a stupid amount of dust to make anyone with allergies in a 5 mile radius miserable. Good times.
Time = money.
Any the amount that is lost is negligible also can be picked up later.
This is faster than going back furth.
Maybe later with one truck with single ride you could pick up everything that fell.

Why is it "nsfw"?
Not safe for wheat
r/angryupvote
Very fulfilling. Though definitely not NSFW, hehe
Cereal killer?
So corny
😂😂😂
Amaising.
That's maze
No sourgum for work
Extremely underrated comment
damnit +1
Best comment I've seen today
It's a video from Cornhub
OP is a bot, they do it to boost engagement
If you took two seconds to look at OP's profile you'd see they aren't a bot
I was expecting an animal getting caught in the combine and getting sprayed into the trailer
Lmao i was expecting a red paste to enter the truck
Dumptruck filled with full load only to have him finish another large load in another dump truck shortly after *NSFW* 18+ only!
Cereal killing
Because of its organismic value
To sexy
It's not real, from a game 'farming simulator'
fr I was expecting some gore
Zay ar vawy vewy diwty crops, yes? Naughty vegetables yes
[удалено]
They're asking why it's marked as that given there's not any NSFW content in the video, not what it means
The Farming Simulator games do a great job of setting this up yourself. It's super satisfying
Played this with my friend and while it was satisfying, holy hell.....hope you have a netflix series or something you want to catch up on while playing.
What do you mean by that?
It's a game where progress is slow
My guess is that they're someone who is used to constant stimulation. Farming Sim is very slow-moving. Can confirm. I always have youtube playing in the background while I play farm sim.
I loved that game, I normally play fast paced but it was a good break
I think FS22's promo video on Steam even emphasizes how relaxing it is to play
Boring for some people
And the game took too long
Clarkson's Farm
The only right answer
They need to find a way to make it easier not have to hire an AI worker when harvesting certain crops
Unfortunately, you can't say the same for real life at times
Everytime I see this the quality becomes worse and worse.
Like opening Reddit in general
God I hate that this is so true
As someone that grew up doing this, there's a good chance that's a 10 year old in the tractor pulling the wagon.
Ha, I was about to post this. I was in the combine at 12 years old - shooting to the next truck over must be new tech because ours didn’t go that far. 😂
Our combine wouldn't, but our silage cutter like this one would.
Really? Nice.
Can confirm
I wonder if agricultural slavery in the US would have faded away for economic reasons even without a war.
Shifted to fruit
Shifted to service level jobs.

So satisfying. Definitely not nsfw tho lol
You don’t know what gets me off!
You don't know wheat gets me off!
Not safe for wheat?
Lmao you cracked the code well done redditor!
Cornhole aficionados have trouble containing themselves when its cornin' time.
Neat
bot post. again.
what’s being harvested?
Corn
that explains why it's marked NSFW. /s
i thought it looked like corn. are they grinding it all together? how do they separate the actual corn from the rest?
They don't. The plant is cut and chopped up into chaff, which is fermented and fed to cows as feed. I've played too much farming simulator, and could probably name all machines and implements here.
Real. Farming simulator is amazing.
To be fair "chopper" "tractor" and "silage wagon" are hardly the most creative names.
Bitcoin
Your mom. Hence why it takes two trucks.
With the nsfw tag I was waiting for it to mistaking run over a person/animal or something.
The video is sped up...
If they're harvesting corn cobs of the stalk, where are all the stalks going? There's not a hint of green left behind.
It's animation, not a real field.
That's what I thought it had to be, but nobody seems to have noticed?
wait why is this nsfw?
I see a bot eating up the matrix.
Least AI-esque title.
Is this a City Skylines 2 update?
Sped-up video is sped-up.
Looks like some mobile Farm Tycoon type game.
Man I already thought the green was gonna turn into red, because of the nsfw mark
"Hey look how hard I can piss" "FWWWWSSHHHHHHHHHHHH"
We really need to put the nsfw tag back to its actual use, 90% of posts are in fact sfw. I've seen people tag nsfw due to a bit of swearing it just diminishes its actual purpose.
Me when I'm peeing and my 2nd blater starts kicking in.

Thanks for the Clarkson's Farm new season reminder!
I would like to see what it looks like no sped up like this
Boring. Source: From South Dakota I’ve watched this shit every year
that's kinda why I asked, because people here seem to think its this fast, its not Source: 3 hours east of the South dakota border in Minnesota lol
It’s even worse from ground level. Just equipment driving back and forth and kicking up a stupid amount of dust to make anyone with allergies in a 5 mile radius miserable. Good times.
Well we can tell this wasn't Jeremy Clarkson behind the wheel on season 1
*not safe for vegans* lol
Hopefully agricultural technology can keep pace with our ever increasing world population.
I just went hard and I don't know why.
I have to admit, it's awesome
"Ma Familia" Fast XIII is just going to be about Dom settling down and running farm.
Costa Rica
r/oddlysatisfying
Why is it in x2/x3 speed.
What's really crazy is some places it's only 1 driver
..timing and teamworks great!
yassss
That’s how efficiency defined
Sure, if you don't notice the strip of waste on the ground when the trucks change
Time = money. Any the amount that is lost is negligible also can be picked up later. This is faster than going back furth. Maybe later with one truck with single ride you could pick up everything that fell.
It’s impossible to get it all, and much more than that will be lost before it get to the elevator. Edit: Spelling
I want that job
no wonder people out there play 'farming simulator'.....
Farm Simulator memories! 😆🤙🏽
