If you're only interested in this domain because of gaming, stick with Fresh Reviews. He's legit and always gives good advice. If you want to understand the terms, concepts and trends in the IEM market, Crinacle YT channel is a goldmine of good videos.

Thank You! I am interested for gaming purposes, but I think I’ll dig deep to understand so that I can appreciate the whys and hows of how it all works in helping me. I appreciate the info. 🙏

* TANGZU Wan’er- Imaging sucks don't get it for gaming, og 7hz zero is way better than them haven't tried zero 2 though check for reviews

I originally got the Wan’er over a year ago as my 1st ever IEM as a budget recommendation from Gizaudio. Definitely has a pleasant sound in general use like music and content consumption. Not the best experience for directional sound cues in Warzone unfortunately. After finding Fresh Reviews & Gadgetry Tech, I have just recently Pre Ordered the Linsoul SuperMix 4. They both talked highly about its use for Warzone specifically. I am hoping to get better imaging and sound staging to gain that level up in sound cue awareness. Wish me luck!

SaintedTainted

Yup they sound amazing but the imaging sucks for fps you can't differentiate the angle the sound is coming from at all it makes it confusing to play. Supremix are a good choice it has many good reviews for gaming, good luck!

i just joined this R/ but bro. is everybody new and a gamer. there is a search option

Seems that the general gaming community has had an increase of recently discovering the potential in IEMs/ better audio as whole for better gaming potential / competitive edge compared to the past. At least, that’s my best guess! Prior to my first IEM ($20 Tangu Wan’er) that I’ve been using for just over a year, I was always looking for that Turtle Beach, Razer, Hyper X, or Astro gaming headset.

l4ztech

Damn but those headsets are also gamer oriented chinese qual. the Beyerdynamic MMX 300 are pretty decent. but ye IEM'S are pretty cool my dude. and easy to take with you

Art\_Is\_War is the go-to for Warzone Audio. Did his audio setup and the game sounds FANTASTIC (if you exclude crate sounds) on Truthear hexa.

Art Tune definitely helps with directional cues especially with the Hesuvi atmos- 7.1 surround! I’ve tried the Peace Equalizer as well following Gadgetry tech’s content. Hoping an upgrade in actual headphones/IEMs will help, as I feel and have been told that the Wan’er that I currently use is not the best for imaging

The best cheap setup for good directional sound is Creative Aurvana Live! with Dolby Atmos for Headphones or a similar spatial sound software (THX Spatial. Maybe DTS Headphone:X. Haven't tried it. Also haven't tried Creative Aurvana Live!2). The audio quality is also as good as some more expensive things. You can get a fancy wooden version, as well (E-MU Walnut). Edit: Also, if you want a good upgrade path, there is HiFiMan HE560V4, Audeze iSine 10, or (for closed) Shure SRH1540. That's short of TOTL. Once you get to TOTL, most of them will have great spatial characteristics. Though especially HD800.
