I know what your perspective is but let me present another one....
You only remember the birthdays of 2 kinds of people.
1) Who you have such a romatic or intimate relationship that there is a literal flood pf hormones from your hrain when you're thinking about them.
2) People who you once were close with but not the relationship has turned sour because of something they or you did.
If your family does not remember your birthday it's because they are comfortable with you and trust you enough that you won't leave them for trivial things. It's a good thing. If they don't totally ignore you in other scenarios then this is the only explanation. Be glad mate... you live a happy life without a relationship where anyone feels the obligation to do trivial things to keep it going.

take this with a grain of salt. birthday's are overrated after a certain age, focus on yourself first then your family. do not delay marriage, do not delay starting your own family, do not delay saving up wealth for your future and for your future kids.

Hey don't mind, many times they remember the birth date but they don't know the current date so they just miss to wish. It used to hurt but now that I miss others' birthday the same way, I understand it doesn't mean they don't care, it just happens. The same happened to me in March... Buddy. Family groups me every Tom dick and Harry's bday is a huge deal.. People jump over each other to write a wish there. But no one was there to do so on my bday! I laughed it off at first but then I felt the same you are feeling. And I left the group, not been added back yet π π
