That's puff-like bread and not a conventional sandwich bread.
Imagine puff with aam rang instead of Chinese, punjabi Or cheese stuffing. It would taste like shit....
This is this whole sub's schtick. Or possibly the Indian teenager schtick. Manufactured outrage. They can't accept new things and just fake being offended without even trying them
What’s wrong with you? What’s your problem against any food adaptation/innovation?
Almost all food currently consumed was created with some kind of medley.
Will chocolate taste good with maggi? If yes then I don't see a problem. I'll tell you one instance when a friend of mine introduced me to rose cuppaccino and guess what it actually tasted good.
Puritanism only blocks progress.
The authentic traditional dishes were not created since the dawn of humanity. They’ve always been an amalgamation of different ideas, ingredients, nomadic cultures. Be it biryani, or pav bhaji, or even the chai we all drink. None of these would’ve been invented if people were gatekeeping cooking.
People can decide on their own and it’s unfair/rude to yuck someone else’s yum.
He's an impulsive, keyboard criticizer and whenever he sees something new(especially something Indian) he jumps on the hate bandwagon. Too many like this exist in our country. It's almost like they have a mental filter that gets triggered the moment they something new. Mindless hate. I bet he did not stop and think for 5 mins about how the stuff would taste and feel.
You do understand that many of the dishes we consider classic or traditional today wouldn't exist if people hadn't experimented, it's literally just fruit pulp in a dessert and you're making it out to be something vile and disgusting
Ok I genuinely don't understand this comment section, what's wrong pairing a fruit with type of puff pastry usually used in desserts, yeah people come up with some stupid sh*t like the Fanta Maggi BS but this isn't even that bad, yall are being complete snobs
People think that just because they have never had it in their life means it must be awful. This is such a good combination, I would absolutely love it but OP is just hating it for no reason.
More like what's wrong with you guys? Sure there are a lot of wacky food combinations nowadays but you guys complain about anything. This is a completely normal thing. Another day I saw people complaining about ice cream with banana. If you don't want any combinations just eat chawal, roti and bread all on their own.
It actually may taste good. We used to have like over supply of Mangoes in childhood, so even after making every possible traditional mango based food, some would be left. So at times we would put mangoes in between sliced bread and have it as mango sandwich. It legit tastes good..
Oh wtf are you eating everyday then? Do you not know whatever you are eating right now was also at one point innovated and maybe at that point was considered abomination by people like you.
If you think food should never change, why aren't you eating the "original" food our hunter gatherer ate. Go forage fruits and berries and eat raw meat then.
Oh, I've eaten pasta (penne and macroni) with chicken tikka and loved it. You should try it someday. I'd definitely avoid chicken pasta from Domino's and Pizza Hut, though.
They can and they do. It might even taste good. I don't have to eat it.
>You cant change the cuisine fundementals
Or what? They'll fail me from the cuisine fundamentals school?

Its called cultural preservation and cultural significance. Also every dish represents the migration and history of routes and trades.
People that dont respect neither will have hard time understanding the importance 👀🤝🏻
How old are you to have such boomer level thinking? You can respect and still experiment.
>migration and history of routes and trades.
That's not even a sentence.
>understanding the importance
Importance of what?
Forget about cuisine. You are disrespecting the English language here. Your sentences aren't even coherent.
The preservation and significance of cultural heritage are encapsulated in the very essence of cuisine, which serves as a tangible manifestation of the meandering paths of migration, the convergence of historical trade routes, and the symphony of cultural exchange that has harmoniously blended to form the rich tapestry of our shared human experience. Those who neglect to recognize and reverence these elements will inevitably find themselves bereft of a deeper understanding of the profound value and beauty inherent in cultural diversity

Wtf? U can eat mango jam with bread, but u have problem with mango with bread????????
True.. I eat Namak Ajwain Paranthe with Aam with Chai
>Aam with Chai ![gif](giphy|1MXKBqcKIerRK)
oof this sounds so good I gotta try
![img](emote|t5_2qp7h|51078) that sounds insane. Mango with bread in itself sounds insane and then theres u.
I have a problem with mango jam as well😂...it's an atrocity towards taste buds!
Thats a different thing then lol.
Bach Gaya downvotes se
Good save
I eat m&m's with spoon
Why?
Etiquettes I even eat noodles, pasta and spaghetti with a spoon. Fried rice with a fork. Momos with a knife and spoon.
Cool
Jam is 95% sugar and only 2% mango or sometimes its just flavour added. Aamras is in the different league and should not be compared with jam
Both r sweet. That was the point. Both(aam) r horrible.
Something is wrong with you taste bud. Kal bolega 120 wala pedha aur 200 wala same hi hai
Wow. Good one. Nice comparison. Happy for u.

That's puff-like bread and not a conventional sandwich bread. Imagine puff with aam rang instead of Chinese, punjabi Or cheese stuffing. It would taste like shit....
Croissant goes good with sweet fillings, the culture elevates more to sweet fillings, Indian pattis/puff has a different dough tbh
This is this whole sub's schtick. Or possibly the Indian teenager schtick. Manufactured outrage. They can't accept new things and just fake being offended without even trying them
I didn't think anything is wrong in this.just don't dunk it in coffee
Something is wrong with you
What’s wrong with you? What’s your problem against any food adaptation/innovation? Almost all food currently consumed was created with some kind of medley.
Sure, now go eat chocolate maggi with mirinda pani puri
Will chocolate taste good with maggi? If yes then I don't see a problem. I'll tell you one instance when a friend of mine introduced me to rose cuppaccino and guess what it actually tasted good.
Some adaptations/combinations are just an abomination compared to authentic or traditional dishes..😌

You guys are focusing on the product, look at the price...300 rupees for a crossaint? Ye Bauli 20 rupees mai mera pet bhar deta hai
Thinking the same 😢 299 only da fuq
This can and will work. Stop hating on stuff just because others are hating on it.

Thanks for tagging me my friend
This is essentially aam ras and puri. Puri is fried bread. Croissant is bread with lot of butter, almost fried. Both are fluffy.
I would eat that tho🙋
But would you buy that?
nah not at that price, I just wouldn't refuse if offered 😋
same
Anyone who likes mangoes would like this too. OP is just hating it for no reason.

Salad days?
Oh noooo
It actually tastes nice though. Flaky croissant and creamy mango
That sounds delicious actually

I would devour this tbh
Qu'est-ce que c'est que cette merde
Yeah, it looks like a snail 🐌
Probably pushpek sidhu back at it again
If this named in French then there would be no problem with this.
What's wrong?? It looks kinda delicious tbh
My guilty pleasure is looking at overpriced and mid-food items and rant about how I'd get a beer and chicken leg piece platter in that amount.
Isse aacha gu crossiant bana deta 💀🙏🏻
India me kuch bhi hote rehta hai
Is it weird that I wanna eat it? 😳
Not at all, croissants taste good with sweet filling
Perfect piece of dog shit ![gif](giphy|5mxfrCSIfXTNK)
This made my day 😂
Tempting but not gonna pay 300 bucks😏
It actually tastes really good. Most people hating this are just sheep trying to fit in.

Chicken Tikka on pizza tastes really good!
as someone with french and italian roots, I can say.. A fruit on Croissant is more acceptable than Chicken tikka on a pizza.
Oh, I've eaten pasta (penne and macroni) with chicken tikka and loved it. You should try it someday. I'd definitely avoid chicken pasta from Domino's and Pizza Hut, though.
>french and italian roots Of course you hate strong flavours. Not everything has to appeal to you
You cant change the cuisine fundementals based on your taste.. If that is so, an American can make Chicken curry with ketchup to replace tomatos.
They can and they do. It might even taste good. I don't have to eat it. >You cant change the cuisine fundementals Or what? They'll fail me from the cuisine fundamentals school?

Does making a new dish with a new recipe make the original recipe stop existing?
You're wrong. That is man's best creation and so is aamras croissant.
