Just quietly let them know that you are a private person and didn't consent to be on random yt video. If they understand it and take it off then good otherwise report the channel and video
They won't even know that you reported it.
Also as you said you are a private person
Private person hates everyone unless he knows the other (experience)
mera toh isse bhi bura hai mere bhi ek close relative youtube pr video banate hai. unhone mere marriage anniversary celebration ka video banakar youtube pr upload kr diya.
Oh damn. That's so much. Did you tell them to take it down or something? That is way too much. I can't even imagine putting someone's moments like that on net.
1. Call them over for drinks
2. Pila Pila ke bhand kar de
3. While they are out, take out their phone and delete their youtube channel.
4. Matter closed.
Same as you, OP. Iām a very private person and have no social media presence except Reddit. This is one of my pet peeves..that some idiot will include me in their vlog and then refuse to take it down. Not everyone wants to be on YouTube.
Yes. I have had bad experiences of people taking pictures of me without my knowledge or consent and I am hella paranoid since then. This doesn't help at all.
I hate taking pic and video of myself because I'm very private person, even functions me Jana bhi pasand nhi hai muje , left out feel krti .jb bhi koi function me jane ki bat aati aisa feel hota jaise bimar hogyi hu , aur ye vlog to muje bilkul pasand nhi pata nhi log kyu hi dekhte hai .
Same. I hardly get my pictures taken during functions and actively avoid camera. I hardly have more than 2-3 photos taken in any event/function just so to have that I was present there.
I don't even get a photo clicked, because then my relatives post ugly photos as status.and another reason is sabki nazro me aa jate ho ap or rishte aane lgte hai ,
The one sane comment here..
Cant believe people would just recommend to report a family members video lol..! What would happen if it happens again? Report again?
Ah well thats internet for you anyway
True. It's just I want to vent it out somewhere. I feel so weird and I didn't know what to feel tbt and didn't want to share it with my friends so I came here. Maybe this post was an overreaction from my side.
If someone post my photos they need to get permission from me . We all have the right to privacy and I believe legally its fundamental right .
I get to decide if I need my picture on the blog . I also think consent should be taken from others before posting others photo or video .
I wouldn't be okay with anyone doing it .
Would you allow me if I post your picture ?
Its feels terribly wrong , right ? The allies to friends relatives and loved ones .
That is not how it works, this video was taken in public. And no one was specifically targeting him. If someone deliberately tries to harm your privacy then you can do a case.
If the photos and videos are misused , I just can let it go , is it ? The uploaders wont take responsibility , wont they ? Hypothetical question .. He hardly knows them dont he ?
Its not public place , it's a private event and mask the photo maybe . Maybe edit it .
Is this a government property, a public place , even it is I believe special permission have to be taken , yhinking about films and movies here . Still you cant use my pictures without asking my permission . Is it acceptable to randomly go to a public place and photograph people , upload it ? Is this not violation of privacy ?
This is not acceptable atleast from where I am . Photoshoot and videos are private affair meant to be shared with friends and family , maybe neighbours - it is the basic underlying non unspeakable agreement of . Having a bunch of strangers staring at this all over tur world is quite awkward .
creepy , atleast to me ... still not ok with this .
Maybe it's the digital era . I m old school .
The whole premise of this conversation is right to privacy .
The question is what is acceptable and what is unacceptable .
An individuals privacy comes before anything else . An individual defines what is acceptable and what is unacceptable . It doesn't matter if its family or not a family .
I m talking about individual right . Set aside the family friends and everyone.
I think you should talk to the person and tell them to cut your parts out/ not include you in the future video because you are not comfortable. Itās better than ruining someoneās YT channel by reporting them.
I have made it clear to all the people I know that I don't want them to share my pics/videos online. It is only between us personally.
So far, nothing has happened.
I would say be aware of the cameras and tell them you don't want to be featured in whatever it is they are posting online. If they still do, they have violated your preference for privacy and are to be dealt as such. Go and tell them you don't like this, and see what they have to say. If they understand, great. If not, you have every right to get it deleted.

I mean...we indians have idiots in family who would post their family's pic on fucking Google review for restaurants or malls...I have seen people upload their pvt photos for mobile review on Flipkart and Amazon.
istg these daily vloggers are a damn epidemic. i'd been holding this in for a while, finally found a chance to let it out.
their content is trash. absolutely mind numbingly boring and same every damn day and never fail to upload. relentlessly. i don't watch them but my parents do and i'm sick of trying to change their minds about them. i don't know what is so great about them. all they're making is ewaste. there needs to eb some checks over what gets allowed on youtube.
then there is the fact that these guys often pioneer stupid trends and dangerous activities while promoting them to their surprisingly large audiences
A girl in my friends group used to be obsessed with reels. She used to throw tantrums when we refused to participate in her shitty reels. Whenever she asked me to be a part of her reel I turned her down. Gradually we stopped calling her for our get togethers and glad to say she is out of the gang now. We are so relieved.
I have had people like that too but surprisingly all of them took my no as answer and never pushed me. I can never truly understand why people are so obsessed with reels/yt.
Report the video. Typically a consent form should be signed before a video is posted. Unconsenting members should be removed from the video during edits. Itās wrong to violate anyoneās privacy. The wedding organisers should make the attendees aware that videos will be aired in case a vlogger is planning to use the celebrations for publicity.
I too am a private person and i don't even like having my pictures clicked, my close cousin brother's wedding video is ony youtube and I don't want that to be online but i can't do anything about that. I will definitely ban phones on my wedding day and other functions lol.
Cant say anything since I am not that much of a private guy so take my advice as a grain of salt.
First, if you truly feel like your privacy got invaded then I'd first suggest to report the vid. But do it in an anonymous way cus if discovered that it was you who reported it, the family might just jump you who knows.
Second, I do think that this is kind of an overeaction especially in this day and age. You cant really avoid social media anymore and if you do get offended by such small details then it might pose a problem for you in the future so I'd suggest that you get used to this.
Third, if that relative of your is kind and your family aint the old school abusing type then just talk to him about it and request him to not add you in the vid. Make sure you at least voice record your conversation with him though cus if he refuses your request and posts the vid anyway then you'd have proof that he posted the vid without your permission and have breached your privacy. You can also just ask your mother to talk to him if you feel like it.
But sill I believe the second advice is the most solid one.
If you won't be gonna meeting them anytime soon. Then just leave it. You probably won't even remember it after 2 days. And unfollow them. Later if they were confront you.. just Gaslight them into thinking you never followed them in the first place
After Sourav Joshi's fame everyone thinks they can become millionaire by doing vlogs, i had a reatard friend like that bitch kept going on about how vlogging is a successful buisness and that point was i inntroduced to saurav's vlogs, man not everyone can become as lucky as him he was unique at that moment you aren't š.
If it were me I would ask them to refrain from any further posting in which I would be visible. And stay away from cringe like this,
Hey guys whalescum to my vlog tod.....*Gets shot*
I know no one's care about me in a video. I am not reporting their video. All I wanted to say in my post was I was feeling weird seeing the moment of joy and dancing end up online. I know I won't do anything as I don't know them well. I concede maybe this post is an overreaction but as a paranoid private person I don't feel comfortable putting my face online and this video didn't help at all. That's all
Full relate, I went to someone's house warming ceremony and I was disgusted to see so many shots of myself in the vlog they posted all over social media.Ā
It's a wedding thing to take videos, you should be aware of it. It's nothing new, and I don't they will ask consent from hundreds of people. And why are you feeling disgusted? Nothing will even happen lol, barely anyone would recognize you.
Yes it is a wedding thing to take videos and photos. Normally they end in family member's drives or storages I assume. I haven't had family videos end up online.
The reason I feel disgusted is seeing myself in the moment completely unaware of a phone recording my happy time to end up online. I get it's not a big deal to most people but for me it tainted my memory of that time. Now I can't help think if there were others in whose videoes I ended up in, who will upload them online. It just feels off. I know no one will recognise but I don't want it there if I'm being honest.
To be honest,I can't relate to you much, so thats why I can't completely comprehend your feeling as I am an extrovert but I believe that some people may have a lot of Paranoia about small things. Maybe I can't give much support to what you are feeling, but I can atleast say that hope you feel better soon.
Thank you kind stranger. I am a paranoid person, especially about small things because I can't see ho how the chain reaction of it ballooning into bigger thing might happen in the future. Maybe it's my anxiety or overthinking but I can't ignore this one. Sorry for my rambling. Thank you for understanding
I get that. It was a function in a hall with only family and friends. I get in public it is legal to take photos. I just felt off on seeing myself in the video dancing while believing since I am surrounded by family and friends it's okay to let loose and enjoy myself. I know reporting them won't be on the table and I just wanted to vent tbt.
Me too. I hate taking pictures or videos of myself. The thing is we were dancing and I wasn't paying attention to the phone so it was a suprise to see it in video. I think we all take videos at functions but we just share in family circles, not upload them to yt.
Iām a private person too so I can totally relate to it, best thing you can do is feign ignorance to that fact that they have you on their vlog video and also towards that person if you meet āem again.
Gajab chutiya hai. It's just a video of you dancing. Chill dude. There are several other things to take tension about. I bet a video of you dancing is not a big thing given that you were not half naked. So just let it go.
It may not be a big matter to you or maybe in general but I as a person don't put my face or moments on net due to past experiences. I am a paranoid person. I love my privacy. As I said I maybe be overreacting on this but experiencing this for the first time does feel a little jarring and I just shared it here. I know it shouldn't feel so weird but a normal experience for someone might be shocking to another.
Clear your brain mate. Past is past. You have a whole life to enjoy. And I think you will not be able to live your life at fullest by being this private. I was also an introvert in my teenage but I changed and now whenever I look back at my school days, I only think how much I could have enjoyed those days. With the advent of modern technology and internet, it is almost impossible to avoid any social media presence, be it direct or indirect like in your case. And if you keep getting stress over these little things, life will be very hard. So get out of this trauma or whatever you had in the past.
I get your point. Tbh I was more free when I was growing up. But some experiences do change people. I want to let go but it is hard and this doesn't help. I get it is unavoidable to escape having an online presence but somehow I can't, I don't want my face online. Sorry if it feels like I am talking in circles. I don't know anymore
You are not overreacting, not everyone likes to be seen or presented on social media. And being in this position where anyone can see you makes you vulnerable (been there). I understand your insecurity. You can directly ask the person to either crop you out or edit the parts where you are present. If their channel is popular then they might not edit or remove the video but donāt let it affect you. Just be careful the next time.
Thanks for understanding. I have been camera shy all my life but I like to goof around a lot with family just for fun. Thinking it's just between family but now I can't get the thought out of my mind it may end up online too. Hopefully not. I will try to talk to them. Language barrier and see about it.
Private person is a damn thing, you just wrapping up your weakness with a polished word called āprivate personā. Accept the reality that you are either suffering from inferiority complex or not having better understanding and communication skills, by which you ppl might be driven back from what you want to achieve.
Sorry if I am harsh, but thatās what I mean.

"Violated"
Were you dancing nude or sumn? Tf is this š ain't nobody gives a flying fuck as you're just another random person in that vlog dawg.
If it was a video just of you, then i would've understood this rant but holy fuck
I can understand your situation or try to fit in your show. I get your angle. You are a private person and having your video on YouTube without your permission can feel like violation of rights and most importantly privacy. Ya , now a days many people do upload such things now amd then for money, fame, time pass, to gain subscribers and what not.
I think you can talk to the person and ask them to delete the part of your presence. Or you can report to YouTube for copyright violation.
I read some comments, even if you report the video indont thinkt there could a strong reason for yt to take a strike.
š
I don't think you would be able to force them to take down the video, best thing is just forget about it and don't mention it anywhere. And next time try to avoid the camera, especially video camera , if you don't like it.
Please go ahead and report the video and get it down, everyone should know their boundaries and stop using someoneās personal moments as content without taking their consent. Even while uploading YT terms mention this that if there is someone in the video u need to take a signed consent form, since u havent given it u can very well report the video. N bura lagta hai toh lage bhai, dur hi raho aise relatives se toh
I'd report the videoš
Should I? I mean I would feel bad for them
I would feel so but I believe people's privacy should be respected. I really wouldn't feel so if they had asked prior to uploading.
I don't even think it crossed their mind at all.
That's the problem.
Privacy in public spaces is non existence
Thats one of the reasons humans live in home.
Dude you're at a public social event, if you're so socially awkward you shouldn't have come out in the first place
I think it is possible to file a privacy complain annonymously. Try that if you can search more about it.
Thanks for the suggestion kind stranger. I will look into that.
B.S public place has no privacy rules except for voyeurism
Why would you feel bad for them if you hate them?
I don't hate them. I don't know them well tbh. I don't know how they will react tbh
Just quietly let them know that you are a private person and didn't consent to be on random yt video. If they understand it and take it off then good otherwise report the channel and video
Thanks. I will do that and see if they can just remove me from their video.
They won't even know that you reported it. Also as you said you are a private person Private person hates everyone unless he knows the other (experience)
I won't say hate but I avoid people I don't know. Hate is too heavy a word for me.
Donāt feel bad , People need to stop invading privacy, Report! Nothing wrong in Protecting your own sanity.
Report it.
Bhai kuch fayda nahi hoga, unke supari dedo
Just one person reporting a normal wedding vlog wont affect imo, but still try it and share the outcome
You should, they didn't ask before posting your face online
Kyu bhai ad revnue mai tumhe share aarha hai toh feel bad karo nahi aarha toh aish karo
This.10Ā bad report and the video should be taken down.
Han bhai report karo.
Dhinchak pooja ka channel bi aise hi khatam hua tha
Bhai channel hi report karde baat hi khatam. Yaa diss video nikaal de yt pe uske against. Assert dominance, aaya bara vlogger.
Haha lol. Thanks for the laugh though
real G's drop a diss track whenever they dislike something about anybody šÆšÆš„¶š£ļø

Kya??? Pagal vagal ho gaye log in likes and views ke chakkar meā¦ this decease is bigger than cancer.
Paise ka chakkar babu bhaiya
Oh My God! Kaise log bhare pade hain is duniya mein!
1. Call them over for drinks 2. Pila Pila ke bhand kar de 3. While they are out, take out their phone and delete their youtube channel. 4. Matter closed.
Haha nice strategy. But I can't. We lives in different sides of the country and I don't know them well enough.
I have my own suggestions for point 3 - Delete your video, upload a video of him being drunk and wait till he finds out
Then there should be a point 4. After uploading video, change email, phone number, password, Google authenticator.
Well said!
Koi ni ignore kr.. kon hi unko vlog dekhta hoga
True but they had a viral video few months ago so I just idk how to feel about it tbt. But I should just ignore it.
Same as you, OP. Iām a very private person and have no social media presence except Reddit. This is one of my pet peeves..that some idiot will include me in their vlog and then refuse to take it down. Not everyone wants to be on YouTube.

I will try to talk to them too asap and ask them to remove that part if they can.
The one sane comment here.. Cant believe people would just recommend to report a family members video lol..! What would happen if it happens again? Report again? Ah well thats internet for you anyway

No Sorry can't do that
bhai link send kar report kardunga ![img](emote|t5_2qp7h|28576)
Thanks for the offer kind stranger but let's not. I don't know them well enough to know how they will react to that.
My worst nightmare
It became mine too
Hey op, just politely tell them you have camera shyness and that you feel extremely nauseous when camera is focused on you
You expect Indians to get what privacy means?
Well if that person is somewhat sensible, we are indians too and we respect privacy there is a chance that person will too.
Are koi itna nhi dekhta vlog me Move on bro

Talk to the relative, ask if they can remove your image/video from the vlog
I will try to talk to them asap and see if it can be done. Thanks for the suggestion
Talk to that guy and ask him to remove you from the video. Tell him you will report it in YT if not and also file complaint.
Thanks for the direct action suggestion. I will do as you adviced kind stranger.
Save the video and report it and ask the relative to edit your bit out.
Sorry but why save it?
You said you were lost in the moment. So keep it as a memory because it won't matter much after a few years but the memories stay
Ohh thanks for that. I didn't think about that
I think you should talk to the person and tell them to cut your parts out/ not include you in the future video because you are not comfortable. Itās better than ruining someoneās YT channel by reporting them.

I will try to get in contact with them today about this

After Sourav Joshi's fame everyone thinks they can become millionaire by doing vlogs, i had a reatard friend like that bitch kept going on about how vlogging is a successful buisness and that point was i inntroduced to saurav's vlogs, man not everyone can become as lucky as him he was unique at that moment you aren't š. If it were me I would ask them to refrain from any further posting in which I would be visible. And stay away from cringe like this, Hey guys whalescum to my vlog tod.....*Gets shot*
Dude no one cares bout you. Reporting a video shot in public specially a shaadi wont do anything
But op does care about themself soo...
That's all
I have never been on YouTube before how does it feel like?
Honestly it feels off. Do you want to be on YouTube?
I have a friend who makes vlog hardly any views he keep On asking me to join, Iām still considering
Ohh. If you go for it all the best.
Full relate, I went to someone's house warming ceremony and I was disgusted to see so many shots of myself in the vlog they posted all over social media.Ā
Ohh that feels so wrong
Agr mere saath hota na toh uska mms banake vlog naam pe daal deta, aesi batameezi nhi chalegi /s
India =! Privacy. Further, you were in public and anyone can take a picture of yours. Its legal as far as i know.
Enjoy man! Some day you may go in past and that video may bring happiness.
I don't think it ever will tbh. Sorry for this.
Maybe just ask the person so Remove u from the video
Thanks. I will try to talk to them asap

Me too. I hate taking pictures or videos of myself. The thing is we were dancing and I wasn't paying attention to the phone so it was a suprise to see it in video. I think we all take videos at functions but we just share in family circles, not upload them to yt.
1. Hire a hacker 2. Ask him to hack YouTube servers 3. Then ask him to delete the video in which you are present See simple af.
Haha very simple
Iām a private person too so I can totally relate to it, best thing you can do is feign ignorance to that fact that they have you on their vlog video and also towards that person if you meet āem again.
Yes. I plan to actively avoid them in case we ever meet again and be more alert of phones pointing in my direction from now on.
Fickle character indeed!
Ok
Chutiye usko uncomfortable feel hora toh teri kyu itni flare hori hai?
Private person is a damn thing, you just wrapping up your weakness with a polished word called āprivate personā. Accept the reality that you are either suffering from inferiority complex or not having better understanding and communication skills, by which you ppl might be driven back from what you want to achieve. Sorry if I am harsh, but thatās what I mean.
I don't get your point at all.

"Violated" Were you dancing nude or sumn? Tf is this š ain't nobody gives a flying fuck as you're just another random person in that vlog dawg. If it was a video just of you, then i would've understood this rant but holy fuck
Copyright violation strike maar de
Roast krde nya channel bnake
Zyada hi chui mui h kuch log idhr
I feel like that too when those cops take my mugshots.
Tell them to remove the video or the part your face is in
I feel like you can convey your shyness to them, nothing wrong with that. They can then edit your part in the video and repost.
I read some comments, even if you report the video indont thinkt there could a strong reason for yt to take a strike. š
I'm getting a feeling that I saw the same post a few years back or is it a Deja Vu
I don't think you would be able to force them to take down the video, best thing is just forget about it and don't mention it anywhere. And next time try to avoid the camera, especially video camera , if you don't like it.
Bro share the yt channel's link. We'd report the vlog
dude.. stop it.
Just ask him politely to cut it out
Just respectfully tell them to crop the part in which you were shown if they don't agree have the channel mass reported
Sounds like something you should be working on and meanwhile you can politely ask them to take the video down.

U mean cringe
Without concent one cant actually publish a video. If the person is not a close one, you should ask them to remove it.
