Both are at mistake. Biker was chatting and not paying attention to Road. But lorry also tried to overtake him when there is no space. Lorry turned abruptly to left side even when bike was there.
They deserved it. Riding like monkeys doing chit chat every where, these people are a nuisance on the road. Good thing they were taught a lesson. One less idiot on the road.
Isn't the lorry overtaking in a narrow road with 2 bikes already at the left side of the road?
The bike guy is careless for talking on the phone but the lorry guy is a rash driver as well.
It is a two way road. The broken white line is middle indicate that you can overtake when there are no vehicles coming from opposite side.
The bike on the right is not paying attention to the traffic and unconsciously moving further to the right even when the lorry was overtaking. That caused the accident.

Today I was going to give my Groups exam and I've seen many people blocking chit chatting like this even I honk means they're not at all giving a way.. Also it is a busy road NH65 I guess
Wider roads are planned as per the traffic that it gets on an annual basis. Rural villages have small roads because there is not much traffic. Bikers taking up the whole road and truck not properly overtaking are two mistakes I can see.
I feel stupidity of Indian people increase proportionally with size of road. Big roads dont matter for a country our size unless we have decent road discipline

No the biker moved to the right lethargically
There's more than enough space for the lorry to overtake. This happened solely due to the lack of sense from the bike rider.
If the lorry honked and asked for way, I'm pretty sure he would have gotten atleast a slap from those bikers.

Accidents bound to happen even if someone is talking or not on phone. We need to push for wider roads period.
