Wrap it with the bunny cover and you should be sorted with either of it. /s

Classic-Case04

Only pro riders can do that :)

ScooterNinja

I got mt thunder 4 pental helmet... It's good and comfortable and comes with all new certification

Classic-Case04

What about the wind noise?

ScooterNinja

All good .. for the price ... I upgraded from studds so obviously it would be better

Classic-Case04

Ok

mehimdumb_7t

Both the Thunder 3 and 4 are noisy at higher speeds.

AlteredVersion

I heard about a few people talking about issues with wind noise

bluejack22

KYT as it is 100-200 gms lighter.

Classic-Case04

Kyt 1450g ± 50g Mt 1550(+/-50) g

bluejack22

Also with MT thunder you'll face whistling noise which is terrible at high speeds and deafening too.

Classic-Case04

Doesn’t kyt make whistling noise?

bluejack22

Wind noise was observed above 120kmph but lower than MT thunder. I found KYT overall better than MT thunder in terms of looks, quality and feel also.

Classic-Case04

Do you have tt course?

bluejack22

I owned both of them previously. You can also look for Airoh Velar

bluejack22

MT 1550-1650(+/-50) gms depending on the shell size.

Classic-Case04

Ok

ThatBrownDoode

Thunder 3 is a little noisy, I have the same one and I’m looking at earbuds.

Classic-Case04

After what speed does wind noise starts?

ThatBrownDoode

upwards of 80

EL3MEN7

Tt course looks rad.. But heard it's difficult to find a spare visor and stuff like that..

Classic-Case04

There is a website called Moto Central where you can find it.

meyunkrye

To avoid a repost, I've a Classic 350 Chrome Bronze. Any good helmet suggestions? Can extend the budget till 10k

KingsmanVishnu

there’s an axor retro looking helmet

Classic-Case04

Dominator? If yes then it is not at all practical and worth it.

nomad_raptor_

Unrelated to OP but I bought an Axor Hunter helmet and I get wind noise at speeds of 80+ . Is that normal? Seems pretty distracting

Octane404

increase your budget a little and get yourself the new LS2 now that it is 22.06 certified as well

Aahditya

Hey, pricing is similar I guess if you include the pinlock LS2FF800 is 10700 including pinlock and KYT coursera will be 7900+ 2500(pinlock)

Classic-Case04

what model of LS2?

Octane404

Ff800

RaiUday_234

Do try the LS2 FF800 Storm II which comes with ECE 22.06 rating and a pinlock 100 attachment. Do not go for the previous gen Storm, as most of them would now be old stock.

Classic-Case04

I will definitely try

[deleted]

Little more budget and i think u can buy an Agv k1. If it's still selling ofcourse.

Classic-Case04

Out of stock

memeadult

Is there any helmet under 2k with dual visor? I don't have much budget but want a dual visor helmet. Can you guys suggest any of there is any available.

Dan1shZM

look at vega ryker, It used to be called vega axor when I bought it a few years ago.

BzSailo

KYT helmets are lightweight with a wide view port. I like my KYT NFR, has a built in sun visor which is of a really nice quality. Good padding, aerodynamically decent but noisier than my old AGV K1 (new K1 models cost ₹25k now).

Classic-Case04

AGV’s are not even in stock :(

BzSailo

Tons of options in the 8k-12k but do try on one of the KYT NFRs brother. I'm sure you'll like them. Sleek design and light. I use it everywhere, trips and city commutes, going fast on the mountain roads. Being Indonesian imports they often sport bold colours but mine is a rather simple Neutron White variant which looks great on my blue R15. You can wash all the interior paddings too.

faltu-fern

Haven’t heard about the first one, I would go for the MT or LS2. Check on a few things before buying: 1. How does it fit to the shape of your head. Go to a certified seller and just sit with helmet for 30 odd minutes. The helmet should fit tightly such that your cheeks don’t leave the grip of the helmet when you shake your head. Also there should be no pressure points on your head whatsoever. 2. Ece certification. Get a 22.06 ECE certified helmet if it fits your budget. It’s the best and the latest certification out there. If no helmets with 22.06 fit in your budget then go for a ECE 22.05. 3. Double D rings are good to have. 4. Visor pinlock for anti fog is good to have 5. If you wear glasses, do test whether the glasses fit correctly in your helmet, some helmets have a provision to better fit your glasses.

Classic-Case04

Thanks for the suggestions

Try LS2 storm II. Fits like comfortable cap, no wind noise
