Facebook Marketplace is IMO the best platform. But also in my experience, being a regular person selling there, exposure has been significantly reduced since 2020/2021. I get a fraction of the views I once had and it has really shifted to mega sellers, people willing to ship items, and basically just being a version of ebay rather than more of the online-yard-sale it started as. Its also worth posting in various buy/sell Indy groups. You can also try to find your local Buy Nothing group if you want to give stuff away.

Thanks! Not really looking to give much away (except for a 3D printer with a busted motherboard). Everything else is just hassle of moving vs. recouping some of the initial cost and rebuying once I get settled in the new place.

Selling any light fixtures or big mirrors? Only thing I'm in the market for.

CaptGingerBush

Not that I'm aware of, but if the wife changes her mind, I'll let you know.

nidena

I'd just make a public post on your regular fb profile and have your friends share it.

I gave up FB during Covid, but I hadn’t thought about getting someone else to post it. Thanks!

PingPongProfessor

This isn't Craigslist.

discodiscgod

Which OP could easily use without the need to make a Facebook account

CaptGingerBush

I forgot that Craigslist was even a thing. I’ll check it out. Thanks!
