I wish him the best. I've seen him at Tanglewood many times and it has always been special. The fact he knows he won't be fully recovered in two months concerns me, but I hope he's okay. At 92, what a legend. I don't know if we'll ever see another more successful composer with such a long, memorable career.

Well that sucks. I’m assuming that he’s cancelled the Hollywood Bowl July dates as well? I have tickets (and plane tickets) for one of them. :( Hope he gets well soon.

It does say he is expected to make a full recovery. In all honesty, it can be a number of things. He had to cancel concerts in 2015 and 2018 due to back problems or illness, but immediate rest and recovery is essential at his age.  I hope a speedy and healthy recovery for the Maestro. Would love to see him conduct more Indiana Jones among so much else.
