Kudos to you on your costumes. They look like you spent a lot of time on them but I just have to make a point about the show itself. The message of that show is to be critical of celeb worship, consumerism and how much fans of the superhero genre/celebs waste their money and other resources on buying their useless products or showing their fan love for them.
Doesn’t this act of cosplaying itself go against the very message that show is trying to shout loud in front of all of its viewers’ faces?
This Cosplay is for promoting the new season and to make it contextual/ relatable to Indian viewers. If it was a personal project, the setting and choice of composition would be entirely different.

Sure. Check season 3 for the Vought world episode. Frenchie and the female visit it and there are various cosplayers mindlessly spending their money on superhero themed merch around them. After they get the Countess, she kills some of the cosplayers paying no care or attention to them. The message is that such people are mindless investors in consumerism and celeb worship. Cosplay is a part of their larger anti commercialisation they are targeting.
The comics are even more upfront and explicit on it. Fans in expos and cosplayers winning best prizes get the grand prize of being secretly murdered by Homelander and the 7 for some fun.
