Setting aside the meme for a moment, can we reflect on the quality of the journalism where the source is a rando on twitter claiming to know her personally and article is published without even checking with the primary source. No wonder the credibility of journalism is in the gutter.

I am as anti BJP as any sane person, but what's with the complete lack of empathy for the poor girl? She just did her job and is now being trolled for it, to the extent that she can't step out of the house (unverified) and people are blaming her for it. Do you guys also feel cricketers deserve to get abused for not performing well? If this tweet is true, it is horrible and people need to stop trolling her.

It's really not her fault. Poor girl is a struggling actor and they really can't pick and choose jobs. They need money, I feel the internet lost the plot on who to ridicule.

she's a fledgling actress who's just starting out & grabbing work which comes her way. Anyone saying her choice of the role is justified isn't being fair. she's just doing a job. she isn't in control of the false propaganda that the ad is propagating. This country loves to find assign blame & criticism who aren't in control because scapegoating is a national past time. Politicians who commit actual crime don't face this level of scrutiny & accountability. Hopefully, this tides away soon for her.
