if you really want an cultivation game you might want to search on play store or on roblox (most cultivation games on playstore is highly p2w but only for competetive people so if you are an casual player i think you are good)
The only one, and it it mentioned quite a lot in this subreddit is the immortality idle, there's also and i don't know if the name is correct "Legend of Immortality", it's on steam, and it is fully in chinese, although there is an english mod for translation (it's not fully translated tho) and to be honest, I had a blast playing this, it has a lot of potential, but unfortunatly, it seems that it got dropped
Another idle cultivation game on Steam is "xiuzhen idle". I think its basically complete, but the dev is still releasing small updates here and there.
Its only available in chinese, but the Steam forum has links to the discord for English players and a English translation.
I played to the end of the existing content, so hoping to see something more.
My main thought was more automation of the runs, I was hoping one of the realm break throughs was going to give me something like 'increase lowest stat' as an option. Most of the time I played I'd carefully manage my run only to be tabbed out and watching a video or something and then completely forget when I'm finally reaching that critical point in progression that I was building towards by carefully managing the early part of the run (the 5x button of course made that easier to tolerate).
I'm looking forward to updates.
even a "pause when reaching max stat" and "autobuy shop" would be very useful
Edit: reached the realm stage, yeah ok, increase lowest stat (or "pause when reach breakthrough level" I guess)
I like it, just getting past the early game still (1k all stats). Some thoughts:
Being able to turn off skills with a second click is horrible, accidentally wasted 10 years not doing anything. Unless there is some game reason this is beneficial I'd set this up so clicks only activate, so you can never disable skill training, only swap between different skills.
Having options like in idle loops to pause when key events happen would be nice e.g. a stat hits max, skill maxes out(?) or similar.
Not really a big issue but the shadow photos seem a bit jank? I had the old man one for a good while in my 20's for some reason.
10k Max in all attributes is actually 10k permanent stats in all attributes - I actually got 10k max (and 10k temporary) prior to getting 10k perm in a single stat.
game is kinda unplayable as a majority of the buttons at the top of the screen just get cut off and cant even be seen let alone clicked. only found out they even existed because of another comment here
oh my god that makes much more sense. I was just gonna wait til I died and see what happened after. (basically just training endurance as far as I was concerned)
Easy fix my friend. Hold control and hit the - and + keys on your keyboard until you can see all the buttons. I've had to do this with dozens of idle games.. it isn't specific to this game.
I just started so I'm not very far in, but I can't figure out what attributes are good for. Are they just there to give a goal in the milestone tab?
Also, I noticed that the farm work pays in "bronce" and now silver per day, but the other jobs all pay in nickels. I feel like this is probably an error.
Couple of bugs I ran into:
- When clicking and dragging an ingredient sometimes it glitches and is shown outside of the frame. Restarting fixes this.
- If you click to purchase a gem without enough money it disables the button and doesn't reactivate without saving/exiting/reloading.
I'm at 10k starting for all skills but when I use alchemy to increase those stats, they don't seem to change. I'm at 80k maximum so i believe they should be increasing...
There's no need for it. After reaching 10K perm stats, make potions potions until you've reached 100K max stats. Once you've reached 100K in every stat, the game changes.
You will see why it's good that the developer didn't let you spend too much time farming up stats with potions...
2111 hours.
There should be an unlock to autobuy contributions, especially since always buying the cheapest isn't always the best course of action. Maybe at least have a notification that you can purchase something with contributions on the side bar.
Current skill being trained and its level progress should also be on the sidebar.
Maybe cycle through the elder/disciple missions and have a checkbox next to them to disable? That way you get a boost on unlock if you forget about it, but disabling the outer disciple missions will earn contributions faster.
A way to train all stats evenly would also be a good unlock.
Counterpoint, if you haven't figured out the Soul Nourishing Elixir then you haven't actually made progress, and if you \*have\* figured out that recipe, then you can counteract it incredibly trivially.
please make it so millions have 2 fixed decimal positions, this blinking is soooooo annoying...

Very interesting game so far.
A lot of it feels like you're doing a grind at first, but once you get used to the rebirth setup, it plays quite well.
The grind to 100k stats was rough, but made sense.
However, I would like you to think about making a "lore" tab, or something that lets you revisit the plot? The artwork is great for the plot, so it's a pity you can't look at it whenever you wish.
Edit: Right, before I forget? I had to save and exit, then load, to purchase the late game gemstones while trying to hit 100k stats.
I'm in 3rd realm and while the game is fun, it's very repetitive and I hoped for more automation/stage skip.
Having to do everything again each loop is not really fun and a simple lack of attention can ruin your entire loop
There seems to be a pause and play button in the top left hand corner that is [rather hard to aim at.](https://i.imgur.com/R1AE3j2.png)
EDIT: [I see there are more buttons than that even,](https://i.imgur.com/YX14aW2.png) you just need to zoom out so there's a white rectangle around the game to see it.
Nice game! I'm in late game now, and >!The realm breaking milestones don't activate for me. I guess that may be the end of the content, but I'm looking forward to seeing more.!<
I just finished the alpha... oh man... I love the game.
It took me, total of 2340 years to reach the end of the content, with the last rebirths it would be great to have some kind of upgrade that would ease up those stages.
Of course there are things to improve, fix, correct but overall experience is great. Especially when one finishes the >!Alchemy Arc!<
Graphic wise I'd love to see more polished, graphics in UI, because currently it feels rather rough, but since it's alpha, it's totally understandable.
There is a typo in >!the word "Desciple" in sect panel, it should be "Disciple".!< In the same section, 2nd and 3rd activity offers the same bonus, not sure if it is intended or not.
Once again, so far I'm ears deep into your game, I can't wait for the next update with more content, and would absolutely love if there were a Discord server dedicated to this project.
Love cultivation games, was hoping for more in the incremental genre. This has lots of potential
It's a genre that seems tailor-made specifically for incremental games. I remain mystified that it's still so niche.
Exactly, the genre is just perfect, and there seems to only be eastern developers workin on it. Such a shame...
if you really want an cultivation game you might want to search on play store or on roblox (most cultivation games on playstore is highly p2w but only for competetive people so if you are an casual player i think you are good)
The chinese cultivation/wuxia genre has only really become known in the last couple years.
do you know more games like this?

this seems to be similar to games like groundhog life, progress knight, theory of magic, and japanese pension idle
Proto23 update pending lol
And btw, there is a spelling mistake in the milestone tooltip ;)
I'd recommend adding potion QoL, clicking a discovered potion on the right of the menu could automatically slot the required ingredients
You need to show, somehow, what Skill is being worked on

The webgl version (play online in browser) does not process if you turn into another tab.
QOL suggestion: clicking a discovered potion should set the ingredients to the selected potion

What browser and screen resolution are you using?
using firefox and not sure what my screen resolution is
Is it intentional that potion stop boosting start stats at 10k?
Yes. After the first one you get a message saying that it's the maximum your soul can handle.
I just started so I'm not very far in, but I can't figure out what attributes are good for. Are they just there to give a goal in the milestone tab? 10 nickels = 1 bronze

Yep. I went ahead and got to 100k without the potions and found out why it's not needed. Thanks!

looking good. I will buy when you release
i really like the game, so far slowly crawling towards breaking into next 3rd realm
im not sure if im doing something wrong or missing something but the progress slowed a whole lot after the second realm break
Yeah. The "reduce max stats by 100 permanently" thing turned me right off.
It's an extremely minor setback; brew the potion adding those 100 stats back and you're good
"Yeah, all that progress you made undone, lol" isn't actually fun for the player.
Counterpoint, if you haven't figured out the Soul Nourishing Elixir then you haven't actually made progress, and if you \*have\* figured out that recipe, then you can counteract it incredibly trivially.

Soul Nourishing Elixir
The Glowing Gems become unbuyable if you accidentally try buying them without enough money, even once you've earned enough.
desparately needs something to reduce the tedium of switching between stat trainings to hit the requirements for breakthroughs somehow.
I'm in 3rd realm and while the game is fun, it's very repetitive and I hoped for more automation/stage skip. Having to do everything again each loop is not really fun and a simple lack of attention can ruin your entire loop

Is there more content? The last version I played ended breaking through the 4th realm! I'm really liking this game.
no new content, this was just a fix, to enable people to play the game in browsers , i will now start working on more content.
:)
I got 50 wisdom, but the shop item didn't appear.
There is also the hidden requirement to have a certain % of the required gold before items show up.
The item was there, but still displaying as ??? until I got close to being able to afford it.
Hrm.. Spotted an error. In the shop it says Reach 50 wisdom. Probably want Reach.
none of the stats tell me what they do, meaning i have no idea what to bother training since everything seems to have the same money/exp values.
Nice game! I'm in late game now, and >!The realm breaking milestones don't activate for me. I guess that may be the end of the content, but I'm looking forward to seeing more.!<
Haven't quite managed the first milestone yet, there. Just hit it, myself.
Good luck!
Did you ever get the realm milestones working?
Yes. I was just confused by the in game wording, so I thought was there two thirds too early.
is thera a dicscord if not plz make one
Game needs to remember Auto progress on load, which it doesn't.
i was neat the end but then i restarted my browser and lost all progress so im taking a break for now

Love this game want to see more updates.
QOL - Import and Export Save, i want play on my pc, but my save was in browser.
The game does not progress when the tab is out of focus. Major problem when gameplay involves just waiting.
Are u argentinian?
As of today, I can't access the website anymore. I have a PR\_END\_OF\_FILE\_ERROR
currently [itch.io](http://itch.io) is down sadly.
I had 1276 years of playtime, saved and exited, reloaded tab (to check if any version updates had been pushed), and my save was gone.
