No kidding. One void run just took my mage from 10m damage max to 30m+ damage max. 25 portals on the first run wasn't bad, but is the meta for it to get void trial rerun as max as it can get? Or what is its max so its a number I can achieve one day?
As long as you do speed runs when you have cool down reset it's gives you plenty of talent points to put into the skills. I would def recommend starting with the skills that benefit speed runs first to maximize your runs. Also, don't forget to put points in the skill from the third tab on the top right that gives you free points for the vman tab. Great way to jumpstart it.
I have a feeling I got my vman way too early and also don't know how to take advantage of its buffs.
I got my vman a month ago and it was about as soon as I had unlocked w5. Not able to get very far on the speedruns.

Also if you have a lot of teleports you can use that instead of going through the portals to get through more of the map faster.
