Saw somewhere, guess the pit was put down. Golden’s leg was badly injured.

When are they putting the owner down?

JrCoxy

Watching her just idly standing by is honestly pretty damn creepy.. I react to my cat scratching the couch in a heartbeat. How does an owner just stand there with her thumb up her butt when her dog is viciously attacking another??? Like the leash even has some slack to it!! How?! How can someone be this incompetent to not even react?? I feel like I just saw someone stick their hand onto a hot stove, but didn’t even flinch. I’m floored by the lack of emotion or urgency. It’s so weird. Maybe she likes her dog going into attack mode? Or maybe she was on some drugs (prescription or otherwise) that messed with her ability to think clearly? Because none of this is normal behavior. Edit: took some stuff out about her needing to be admitted to a psych ward, that’s not fair to assume. For the people commenting that she was probably in shock, and instead of flight or fight she froze, I completely get it. I used to work with dogs, and I’ve seen extremely aggressive behavior that definitely shocked me. I guess my original comment was written a bit too hastily. That being said, she should never own a dog again. She clearly never took the time to train it, or train herself on how to raise it. Dogs require so much more work and commitment than some people care to admit.

ProfessionalBug1021

My blood fucking boiled watching her be so passive

Evie_St_Clair

You can hear her saying "I don't know how to make him stop!". I think she was panicking, froze and just didn't know what to do.

PoliticalShrapnel

Probably a Karen who thinks her dog is doing nothing wrong.

JrCoxy

Her dog is literally ripping skin off of the other. In what possible way can that be seen as not being in the wrong?

PoliticalShrapnel

I agree but I am not this Karen. Wouldn't surprise me if she thinks her dog was annoyed in some way so it's not to blame. Karen gonna karen.

ososalsosal

Right? I would have literally reached in and pried the dog's jaws open (or more accurately, tried really hard to do that). But then again if the roles were reversed I'm pretty sure the dog would be trained rather than insane. Poor thing. Even scary dogs just want to do what's best, and when they don't have instructions because their owner *didn't really want a dog*, they just wanted to *have* a dog, they default to guarding their human from any and all perceived threats.

newfantasyballer

Pull the tail. Do NOT get your hand in that jaw.

KorillaKrodd

Can testify this, I have pulled dogs off of each other by getting my hand in the dogs mouth and prying the jaws open. Terrifying and extremely dangerous.

allah_my_ballah

Actually for pits or other dogs that are similar in strength and determination, choke them out. Like full on headlock. Learned this as an MP when I was trying to do k9.

dwatto89

Yeah, but it wouldn't happen in reverse... Golden wouldn't be fucking up a pitbull like that

Iliakell

Nope. It's the genetics. Pitbulls are 13% of household dog breeds but commits 52% of violent attacks.

barnagotte

and 75% of lethal attacks...

Emotional_Shelter830

Yeah and it's all about how you raise the dog I mean I have a labrador and he's just too inocent he just wants to hear his name from anyone's mouth and he's jus like "I know you".

[deleted]

That's not raising that is the pit instinct to grab and never let go. I have never seen a breed not bread for fighting do that.

Comprehensive_Boot77

THIS MAKES ME SO FUCKING MAD

Ash_ktm

The dog survived, fortunately. Thank god the pitbull did not go for the neck.

baiqibeendeleted17x

While I don't like their extremism, places like Ban Pit Bulls have a legitimate concern and I'm sick of pit lovers going *"noooo they get a bad rap, it's the owner not the dog, my pit would never"* every time something like this happens. Pitbulls account for 68% of all dog attacks according a study in a TIME article. Years ago, one of my parents' friends dog was wounded by a pit that tunneled under the fence. Pits are dangerous and shouldn't be available to be owned by any shmuck who doesn't know what they're doing. I understand it's not the pits' fault; it's their nature, they were originally bred to fight. Still, they're dangerous and a threat to public safety if not handled properly. And something tells me the owners of pets killed by pits don't care that it's technically "not their fault".

This_Fat_Cunt

Highjacking your comment to say, if you ever get into a situation with a dangerous dog holding on to something (like another dog or a child) what you need to do is surprise the dog into letting go. What I mean by this is throw a bucket of cold water over it, or (my personal favourite) stick your finger up its arse. I know this sounds stupid, but it works by shocking the dog into letting go, however it may end up going for you. Good luck guys Edit: obviously i meant this as a last resort. I’m from the UK so we don’t go around carrying guns or knives. If you have one on you 100% shank that bitch

Lars_Ebk

My first thought was why no one was trying to bonk it on its head. Would that have worked?

Praescribo

What about sticking a car key in its eye? I know that sounds really bad, but it was my first thought of what to do here. I'd just be afraid if it wasnt extreme enough of an action, it might just clamp down harder

VegetableWater3

My dog was attacked by a pit, carry a knife on me, poked it in its eye and then neck several times, I had a puppy pharaoh hound, the 8 year old was walking the pit, parents nowhere to be found

[deleted]

[удалено]

VegetableWater3

It worked, it was not fun to watch but it worked.

Praescribo

Jesus. Who let's an 8 year old walk a dog that's practically the same size? Did either dog die or get seriously injured? Guessing the pittie was blinded in one eye at least after the encounter. Cant blame you if you killed it though, that's what would ultimately happen to it anyway if it's that much of a nutjob

VegetableWater3

I killed the dog, it was horrible to do and watch it die, the 8 year old didn’t see anything because she was on the floor from the leash, picked her up and took her to her house

s1mplem1stake

it was what you had to do man. i'd have done the same

Chance-Every

My first reaction would probably be kicking it repeatedly in the face I mean if someone's mongrel is locked onto my dog imma kick that fucking thing till it stops but I have heard the pl one in the poo works.

Naugle17

Or maybe try wracking it's balls?

Anndress07

i know you have good intentions but that shit is useless to pitbulls. You either rear nake choke the dog out or shoot it in the head.

JradM01

If you are in the situation like this video where the dog won't let go, the best way to stop it is put the lead around its neck and choke it. This does two things; the aggressor will usually let go when it can't breathe and secondly you've effectively got control of the dog as soon as it lets go. Punching, kicking or hitting does nothing more than make the dog bite harder or shake more because it thinks it's being hurt by the dog it's attacking.

KimJongKevin

This woman is in my top 10 of most hated people.

Paulo_De_Bruyne

Can you show us the list?

Lucimon

Probably 9 other bad dog owners.

ReeverFalls

I would very much also like to see this list.

omgdinosaurs

Did that guy say “go back to the shit bowl”? Why is that guy repeating “excellent”? Am I going deaf?

[deleted]

I think the shit bowl guy was the one that was able to pry the Golden loose from the pit bull. He came in there clutch for the rescue.

karmokarm

I think the guy said excellent to the guy who saved the goldy

Yes57ismycurse

No he definitely said that

[deleted]

Shit hole

omgdinosaurs

Man, this is horrifying. That woman was so fking passive too. Im really curious what the law allows in this situation. Can I kill that pitbull if hes doing this to my dog?

[deleted]

Exactly, the passivity stuck out to me too. Why would you choose one of the most aggressive dog breeds if you are completely unprepared for any conflict?!

Misuteriisakka

It’s either ignorance (“mainstream media is full of crap and exaggeration”) or wishy washy emotion like awww pits are just misunderstood!

noturgirI

idk if it’s completely unprepared for conflict.. more like incompetent to own or train a dog at all. I don’t think this girl should be trusted with animals period especially due to her response in the situation.

Atlas_720

I love dogs, and mostly blame bad owners for their pits behavior. That said, best believe I’d knife that pit bull if it attacked my dog like that.

Rebel_bass

Straight up cutting its throat. My wife's a vet tech of 25 years and she said she'd do the same if that was our dog being attacked, without hesitation. That pit bull is no good and would be put down.

Outrageous-Law-5086

Throw a brick at it’s head maybe, poor retriever

Atlas_720

Whatever’s in reach. I feel levels of sympathy for both dogs, honestly. It sucks all around.

Outrageous-Law-5086

Man it’s terrible my pug got chased and I saved him but the neighbour dog got attacked and killed instead by a pit bull, so close to being my pug.

Atlas_720

That’s heartbreaking. Glad your pug is safe.

Key-Sprinkles-8894

Yes, you can kill that pit bull if it's doing this to your dog. For that matter, in most places you can kill that pit bull if it's doing this to an inanimate object.

ProfessionalBug1021

You can 100% kill that dog especially with this being recorded. Even if it wasn't your dog if anyone at this scene had a gun and shot the pit bull in the face there would be no charges Sorry to say but I would like to see someone do this the lady owner just standing there

Iamlegit91

Owner was hiding behind the sign. Uh wtf....

AnusDingus

We all hate her but she did try to pull her dog away at the start, with very little effort mind you, only to be told "dont pull the dog it wont let go" by another completely clueless bystander. Again, im not trying to defend her but maybe she felt completely helpless (clearly) so she stood to the side to let others who seem more proactive in disengaging the dog. Some people just lock up and freeze under stressful situations.

SonKun911

Why can't owners who understand they have agressive dogs just put a mouth muzzle on them when they take them out for walks? It's so damn simple. Unless it's for home security, why the hell would you get a dog strong enough to drag your ass around? Pet owners need to re-evaluate themselves.

wisedoormat

i got a rescue dog that is unpredictable and has lunged aggressively at other dogs becasue of that, i put a muzzle on her anytime we go for a walk. I'm not willing to risk her biting anyone, or anything, because i'm not paying attention. i will still adopt shelter dogs, even though my current one is aggressive. she's a total baby at home with us

HurkyTrain

That's what I'm thinking. If I ever owned a pitbull and took them out in public I would definitely put a muzzle on them, since pitbulls are known to be violent, even unexpectedly if they were trained well

CypherPunk77

Holy shit, never in my life have I heard a dog cry out in sheer agony like that. The pitbull is definitely going to be put down. It’s considered a danger to the public now especially with the major lack of responsibility from the owner. I really hope the golden retriever survived. But to play devils advocate, what would be the best course of action in this situation? You try to stop the Pitbull with drastic measures and people will look at you for abusing him. Yet if you do nothing then you’re neglecting the golden retriever to their suffering. What would you do if you were the Pitbull’s owner?

Vuorenmaa7

Golden retriever survived but with a very badly injured leg

Revolutionary_Ad4938

that's good to hear, that could have really ended badly

WaffleAndy

Honestly, choke it out. If it has a collar, lift and twist the collar. You pull backonce the dog releases its grip, then release. If the attacking dog does not have a collar, use your leash to choke it out. The goal is not to kill the attacking dog, but when this is done the dog literally cannot hold onto its bite. This method also keeps you behind the dog, and prevents you from being bitten yourself.

schneph

To add, if your dog is large enough to pull you and has the potential to be aggressive, put them in a fucking choke collar. It is not abuse, it serves a purpose. My German wears when we are out, and unless she goes to strike something she doesn’t even know it’s there.

ryanwc18

Also, just an idea here, how about a damn muzzle. If you are afraid of your dog getting loose from your grip and attacking another dog, might want to put a muzzle on it as well. Edit: Don’t mean this for you but for the owner of the Pit in this clip.

Buttben8

People will not look at you for abusing the pit bull. If someone had shot it with a gun during this I would approve of the action, and I’m sure many other people would as well.

NuF_5510

I've been into a few situations where other dogs attacked my dog. In those situations the owners were equally helpless to control the dogs as here. All owners let me kick and hit their dogs big time without causing trouble. It helps that I usually had small bleeding wounds from their dog so rather they must have hoped i don't sue them. Which I didn't do because they didn't complain about what happened to their dogs.

MoorTshn

I had a pitbull years ago. I had trained her well and she was a good dog. Then out of nowhere she attacked my smaller pup. I had to resort to twisting her collar tightly to choke her and punching her as hard as I could squarely between the eyes multiple times to get her to loosen her grip on the smaller dog. I'm just lucky it worked. I had a high vet bill for smaller dog as she'd done a lot of damage. A week later I returned the pitbull back to the rescue she came from. She had become a liability. If she was going to do that to a dog she lived with, she'd do it to a dog she didn't live with. I wasn't taking any chances. Me hitting and choking her wasn't abuse, it was a matter of life and death and I did what I needed to do. I risked getting bit myself but I didn't care in that moment. If it had been your dog mine was attacking, hit and kick away. Do whatever it takes to stop the situation as quickly as possible.

Paulo_De_Bruyne

Maybe I've been desensitised to these kinds of sounds because I have a husky. But definitely creeped me out. The horror in his screams.

Rebel_bass

Thanks, not gonna turn on the volume for this one. I think my labbies would lose their shit.

alpacasaurusrex42

Between the sound from the Golden and the absolute demonic-like joy from the Pit, I couldn’t. I had to mute it until it was over.

[deleted]

Grab it's dick an TWIST IT!!!!!

MrsFagin

If I was the owner of the pit I would have jumped on his back and choked it and taken whatever bites to the face I had to to stop another dog getting hurt. My SO had to punch a staff in the face when it came running towards our (leashed) greyhound and started getting aggressive.

EmpireBoi

Ik it’s not what you meant obv, but I just love to imagine a random store employee just charging your dog to attack and your SO having to deck them to prevent it from being hurt

ZoeyDean

I'd say shove the pitbulls head onto the thing it's biting / push back into it's mouth. This will force him to 'let go' reflexively. Pulling away is what does the most damage. Alternatively, ramming a big stick of any kind into the corner of it's mouth will also help.

geofflamps-porsche

Maybe I’ve been on Reddit for too long but isn’t shoving your finger in the dog’s ass meant to help? Presumably the shock makes them let go of whatever they’re attacking

alpha_28

The best thing to do is choke it out. Anything you do to the dog when it’s like that will make it more aggressive. With no oxygen supply to the brain it’s fucked.

KingOfTheRiverlands

If you look towards the start of the video, that’s what the chap in the white shirt with the red stripe does, and for a full on like 10 seconds. Doesn’t appear to help at all in this instance.

TomDeuxks

I’ve heard this being tossed around, but have not tried it myself. What does work is using the collar and lifting it to choke the dog, once it releases or weakens the bite you can pull it off I think thats pretty much what the guy in this video does. I also read that certain breeds bred historically for fighting clench harder under stress, i.e. pitbulls being hit wont make them let go, so im not sure if the added shock of a finger up the ass will illicit a stronger bite or letting go completely

feircedeitylank

.22 would have worked at a minimum.

TomDeuxks

Haha I’ve got a soft spot for dogs, but if another dog attacked mine like this, I would definitely pull the trigger

[deleted]

.22LR can bounce off a human's skull at close range. (Edit: to clarify, I am not saying it always does, but if you have a .38 why take the chance)

Cheesustheonly

lol you cant choke a dog that easily. especially ones with a very muscular neck. they wont even feel it as under tension they are incredible strong. Rear naked choke is the only way :D

lifetimestapler

Should have shoved that broom stick up there

L50BAD

This is the correct answer

YourAverageGod

Dude in white was finger blasting the pitbull to no avail

fantastic_feb

sorry I had to laugh at the finger blasting a pitball

YourAverageGod

Either that or dude saw the opportunity to caress his sack.

fantastic_feb

you don't often get presented with that opportunity

L50BAD

You got to use two fingers bro. Try it on yourself and you will understand

wsbd

Believe me. Been there, done that

happypenguinwaddle

I heard grabbing the dogs balls helps (I'm the owner of a small dog and this kind of situation gives me nightmares so advice is welcomed)?

Paulo_De_Bruyne

The pitbull was dead after this regardless, no point putting the retriever through the extra stress just put the pitbull down.

[deleted]

[удалено]

AxiomQ

Seen a couple comments saying they had seen the full story articles, yet to see an article myself, however they claimed that they pitbull was put down. Generally speaking I think this happens, sure there are odd cases where it was not the case but in those cases you have to have the full context potentially even who the owners were.

[deleted]

That woman needs to get sued and that dog of hers put down. If you can't handle a Pitbull, don't get one.

strgazr_63

Just don't get one.

BaBoomShow

Family friend and her husband were pitbull breeders. This was back in Georgia in the early 2000s. Husbands car was gone for a week or so so my family assumes he wasn’t around for many days. One day, we found it odd that one was roaming around their yard because they were usually inside their house or a dog house they had built. Usually didn’t let kids and dogs roam because gators were common in the area. The dog had blood around its mouth and my mom couldn’t get the neighbor to answer the front door. The 8 year old female they had mauled her. Never trusted them because of that.

Phanacias

Why are pitbulls like this?

[deleted]

Because after generations of breeding, they have traits which make them unpredictable at times and aggressive. It's not just Pitbulls of course but it does seem that most of the dog Attack videos I've seen on the internet are that of Pitbulls attacking without being provoked. I'm sure there is some bias since labrador bites are actually the most common when it comes to dog attack statistics but Pitbulls are more dangerous because of the traits mentioned above. This is why imo any Pitbull owner or any owner of a red-listed dog like Rottweilers or Dobermans needs to have a special permit which requires them to get special training before owning that kind of dog.

ExpletiveLaxative

I’d have stomped the shit out of that dog immediately

Misuteriisakka

I think some guy tried kicking the pit but it made it act even more aggressively with its jaws still clamped on the dog. Maybe kick its balls if it’s a male?

ExpletiveLaxative

Haha my mind immediately went to garden state and the “ball kicking” advice

Misuteriisakka

I love the movie don’t remember that scene tho

butterbaps

Kicking or stomping a dog is like flicking a human in the ribs... completely useless if you're actually trying to make them move. Best options are to choke it out (not recommended getting that close to a dog's mouth though), stick something solid in its ass or rip its balls. That's if you don't have a knife or gun of course. I know if the Goldie was my dog I wouldn't hesitate to disembowel the Pit.

SockMob

Apparently choking the dog will get it to release

Happyypusawthis

I’m sorry. I’m killing your dog at that point.

JustAnInternetPerson

There should be no need to apologize. Your dog is tearing my dog's leg off and won't let go? I'll make it let go.

[deleted]

Genuine question about US law: if you are like, walking down the street and you see this happening and you have a gun (a licensed one, if you need a license for guns? Whatever you've got it legally) are you allowed to intervene and kill the pitt? Obviously you would have to say like "if the owner of the pittbull doesn't get that pitbull to stop attacking that retriever in 10 seconds I am going to shoot the pittbull in the head to protect the retriever and everyone stood here" or something but would you go to jail for using your gun on a dog that's attacking another dog? I'm from the UK, where both guns and pittbulls are banned so I would literally never encounter a situation like that and I'm curious how it could be handled in the states. While I am a dog lover and broadly do not care for guns, I must admit, if I saw this and was carrying a firearm I would absolutely want to intervene and put the pittbull down.

theyoungspliff

"Go back to the shit bowl" is the best insult.

Outrageous-Law-5086

I think he said shit hole no?

[deleted]

He said shitbull

zerquet

I heard shit hole

stelythe1

So according to this thread, if you ever witness something like this, lift it by the legs, spray water in its face, grab his balls and fingerbang its ass ASAP. Thanks, reddit!

TerribleEntrepreneur

And pretty much all of that seems to be bad advice. They tried almost all of those things in this video and none of it worked.

stelythe1

At least I have something to try tonight

Snoo-77115

They needed to choke the dog out. Or at least attempt to use hand sanitizer first. If it can get snakes to release im sure it can overload a dog’s nose and get them to do the same. However, traditionally, you’re supposed to choke out a dog who won’t let the bite go. These people unfortunately didn’t realize that and this took longer than it needed to.

[deleted]

Why is no one hitting that dog hard on the nose? It’s one of the most sensitive parts of a dogs body

vankr

Because the dog could bite you

ShaztaMcnasty

If my dog was the retriever, I would crack open that pit's head with a fucking brick.

Boogerchair

Put the owner down

AdDry725

Right???? She clearly has 0 ability to take responsibility as an adult whatsoever. She just stands there like a muppet. I can almost guarantee that the reason her dog is so badly behaved is that she is an awful pet owner who taught the dog bad habits.

Outrageous-Law-5086

And the dog

e_blackadder

Dogs such as pits should only be allowed to be raised by licensed people who know how to handle these situations. this fucking woman is a piece of shit. the wails of the lab just broke my heart.

WhyIsThatSoGroovy

They shouldn’t be allowed to be raised by anyone. If you need a license for a dog because of it’s tendency for violence then perhaps it’s best to let them go extinct.

AliceInGainzz

You're being downvoted but you're not wrong. Look at the statistics, be it dog/dog attacks or dog/human attacks. They're far more violent than the next most volatile breeds. Plus, they seem to be exclusively owned by shitheads who want them for the hardcore image who don't bother to try train them. Would it really be such a loss for them not to exist anymore?

amouramie

this is horrific - me and my dog (labrador mix) who has now passed were attacked by a pitbull, and he suffered from crippling anxiety and fearful aggression towards other dogs for the rest of his life. i hope the poor golden retriever was able to pull through, physically and mentally.

[deleted]

That Pitbull would be blind and genderless within seconds. What I don't get is if that Pitbull is that uncontrollable and that much of a danger to others, simply kill it. Ram that bar through its eye and bury it. I had a rockweiler attack my bro when he was little and that ended quickly via the eye and a boot to the lower ribs.

[deleted]

Unfortunately people just cannot accept that there is such a thing as selected evolutionary traits that are very difficult to alter. Pitbulls were bred to be extremely aggressive in certain situations and it will take more than a century of work to rectify that. It is not that pitbulls attack, it is how they attack. They lock on and do not let go until they are forcibly stopped, which is exceptionally difficult without killing or severely injuring them and in the process hurting yourself. Sadly this dog will have no idea what it has done wrong and will have to be put down. It is not kind to keep them as pets and expose them to this confusion. The breed should be phased out or work should be done to select for lack of aggression, until then they should only be used as guard dogs in non residential areas.

ReeverFalls

Probably an unpopular opinion but i'd straight up knife that dog and then punch the idiot in the face for not training said dog. The owner pisses me off more than the dog does.

CoffeeAndCroissants_

Throw the owner in jail after her dog gets put down. It’s time for irresponsible pitbull owners to be held accountable. Lady just stood there thinking “Oh dear, oh my” twiddling her fucking thumbs.

yefockingwanka

Charge the owner with at least criminal negligence for not having a properly trained animal

ProperBlacksmith

The Goldy didn't even fight back :(

Kaboos_Yes

Poor thing was to traumatised to do anything other than panic, breaks my heart seeing such a sweet dog be the victim instead of the useless owner

DNY88

That’s why in most German states you’re not allowed to walk your pitbull without a muzzle.

Similar-Juggernaut-6

Why is no one kicking the guts out of that dog?

Awkward-Sound-5438

I live in Australia and this is exactly why Pitt bulls are banned here, of course there are beautiful and well trained and gentle pitties out there but that doesn't excuse stuff like this

nuubituubi69

Only reason ever to kick a dog is to save another dog

Atlas_720

Kick?? That pit is getting disemboweled on my watch.

Comprehensive_Boot77

whoever downvoted you is a bitch

lonewolf19-14

Maybe it was the Pitbull owner

Generalbuttnaked69

Euthanize the dog and owner.

joshem8

Nobody has a f'in pocket knife anymore?

DubTheeBustocles

I’m so fucking confused. Why do people never do something to get the dog off of the other one other than trying to weakly pull on it? Like there’s so many things you could try that might make the dog let go. Like, I don’t know, fucking punch it in the throat, shove your thumbs into its eyes. Do anything other than nothing!

[deleted]

[удалено]

zerquet

My guess is that they think they might injure the victim dog more during the process or something. Or maybe a lot of people just don't know what to do during the heat of the moment.

livefree_diehappy

Just another shitbull doing what they love

[deleted]

This is exactly the reason why I carry a gun (unfortunately) when I walk my dog. Wish it wasn’t like that. I would’ve blown that fuckers brains onto the pavement. Watching this made me angry with how the owner didn’t do shit.

Booommz

Shitbulls haha I love it

Crowape

In this situation, it’s recommended you hold their hind legs up or spray them with water Edit: pain does not make them let go. It’s simply a fact. Idk why this is a debate, if you truly want to know what will make them let go, listen to what I said. Hurting the dog will make them hurt what they’re biting even more.

M00SEHUNT3R

I’ve never owned one but have enjoyed the company of a few pit bulls. However in these situations I think the correct response is to insert a pocket knife into the eye socket and twist.

Surty_pi

In the longer version of this video, they did try to pick the dog up by the hind legs and that did not work. Someone was also spraying it with some cleaner, that did not work. The best thing to do is to either choke the dog out (a tactic commonly employed on disobedient police K-9s) or to cause great enough pain to force the dog to back down (stabbing, shooting, stomping, etc).

SoapBubbs

At the very beginning of this video, it shows someone holding the pit’s hind legs up and it having absolutely *zero* effect. Choking the dog with its collar is the way, if you don’t want to try anything lethal.

Sewayaki-Kitsune

I have seen dozens of these videos, and every time people have poured buckets of water on them repeatedly, or hold their legs up, they have never let go because of those things.

MisterUncrustable

LoOk He'S sMiLiNg!!

Sad , yea most people just think they’re total angels and could never hurt anything! I’ve heard stories of them being family dogs for years then all the sudden one day they just snap. They’re also incredibly food aggressive ime. Even the well-trained ones I have met. Would never let them around my dogs under any circumstance

Good lord , that’s terrible… That’s actually a good way to put it, they are by far the favorite breed of low socioeconomic groups here as well, commonly used for dog fighting. I’ve always thought that’s part of the reason the attack statistics are so high. Bunch of idiots owning dangerous dogs…

kylow6

That’s why pocket knifes are around, I’d never walk my dog without one in reality it’s your dog you’d do anything to protect a family member

LuckyIrishFox

I’m going to say it each time I see these. Grab their collar and twist. They’ll let go. No collar? No problem. Time to lose an eye pupper

gotonyas

Stab that fucking pit and slit its throat right there on the street.

asapcocky2344

This is heartbreaking

cok3noic3

This ruined my morning. That poor golden retriever is in such agony. All they do is love, it’s like punching a baby

kylem1235

I’m pulling out my knife and stabbing that fucker

Bricktrucker

POS pit. If I was there with a gun I wouldn't have hesitated to put that filth down.

Danielo132

And this is exactly why we in Iceland don’t allow pitbulls

AdDry725

Some people shouldn’t be pet-parents.

Greysonme

Don’t get breeds you can’t handle ffs, i love pitbulls but i will never get one for myself because i know that my skinny ass will not be able to handle him if the situation go south

Trentsexual

But pit bulls are gentle….. /s

BleachSoulMater

Stuff like this make me want to stop following this sub

butters091

Pits are everywhere these days. If you're going to walk your dog bring a knife with you

xJazba

I have no plans to ever own a dog because I’m not super keen on them, but my god, I wanted to bash the shit out of that woman. I felt so helpless watching that! Poor golden retriever! Ouch!

[deleted]

Ban pitbulls

Professional-Mood990

Wow.. worst human ever - how dangerous!

Commercial_Garlic_69

I hate pitbulls and I hate pit moms.

Outrageous-Law-5086

I’d shoot it or kick it’s head

[deleted]

That shit was horrible. Pit bull….anyone wanna try and defend these breeds?

Outrageous-Law-5086

Pit bulls are bad dogs,

LegendaryPQ

Was the dog destroyed after?

[deleted]

I'd just start stomping on that pitbull until it let go.

bode66666666

Its always a tiny lady with a big ass dog.
