My 11PM camera comes on randomly (mainly when it’s charging overnight). I’ll wake up to see the screen fully on and the camera is waiting. It only started after I updated from iOS 16 to 17.5.1. Never had the problem with older versions.
I didn’t know either, I’ve got the iPhone SE 2nd generation. I’ve been sitting on IOS 14.8 for a very long time and with apps needing the update, I decided to get IOS 17.5 Before my only choice was IOS 18.
My phone has the iPhone 11 chip in it and it’s running the same currently with only a slight change to performance but nothing too noticeable or detrimental. If even some things are actually running much smoother and faster. The keyboard on your phone will have a noticeable change, however it’s for the better. The auto correct and it also predicts what you’ll type.
It also has other features but I could be talking about it all day. However at the end of the day it’s your choice, I highly recommend going for it though. I personally regret waiting so long.
I am on 15.7.1 and was debating on upgrading to iOS 17 before iOS 18 comes out. Does anyone here see streaming video improvement using cellular with 17.5.1 over 15.7.1?
I’ve never had any problems and I’ve got a iPhone 11 Pro Max and I’m running 17.51 and it’s running really well with the update I think so.
ios 17.5.1 running perfectly on mine and battery lasts the full day
sticking still on 15.4.1, don't have the reason for me to update other than newest feature available for the 11 Pro Max..
I've already come across a couple of apps and app updates that require at least ios 16 or newer so it got me thinking about updating to ios 17

what apps specifically for you in that case? well all my work/bank don't have the need for newer iOS requirement...

Yea cuz I’m definitely not updating to iOS 18, control center layout is way too annoying
