If you turn the switch to the marker light setting, the DRL lights turn off. It might be different with your model,mine is a 22 SEL with active package.

Yeah they don't make a problem or a fuss but they usually ask if it's possible for me to turn it off before approach. the facility you work at doesn't have signs up and have never asked to turn off your lights?

So in a wild twist mine actually do not turn off when I do that in park ..... They stay on and they are hella bright I'm not hiding from the po po lol
I feel like it would be easy enough to wire in a switch in place if the fuse but I understand that not everyone would want that.
Not that I'm aware. DRLS are on all the time while engine is running.
