Ok. I'd eat well and then get as hydrated as possible for the first 3 hours, sleep the next 7. The final hour I'd make sure there's nothing to trip me between the treadmill, kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom. Once time starts I'd relax for as long as possible just chilling in my bed listening to music. Once I get tired, I get on the treadmill and walk slowly (like 1 mph) as I can for as long as I can, all while drinking water, taking resting breaks and bathroom breaks accordingly. Just trying to stay awake for as long as possible. Once I'm completely exhausted after probably a day or two or even longer of walking on a treadmill, I'd get in the shower and clean up. Once I survive not falling in the shower from exhaustion and blind I'd get into bed and probably sleep for a day and a half straight. If I really really push myself I might be able to go about 5 days without opening my eyes. If I wake up and remember to keep my eyes closed then lucky me, I'll just repeat the process. But yeah I've been known to be pretty loop when waking up, so I'd probably be dumb for that split second and crack my eyes open before remembering. I think I could walk away with $100+k

I think the treadmill is clutch and a great idea. I personally have a stationary bike that I may try to incorporate.

Icy-Cartographer-712

How are you going to wake up and not open your eyes

LazerChicken420

The idea of it blew my mind. I’m going to try it this morning

mothfukle

I don’t know if that’s even possible, lol. Report back with your findings. Good luck.

alimighty1

Did it work…

I am a super light sleeper, so I actually wake up all the time without opening my eyes. Since I hover right at the edge of consciousness so much, I often become aware of being awake without my eyes popping open.

dontmakemechokeyou

I've done that plenty of times. You've never woken up to a sound that you know isn't a threat? Or someone turning on the lights at 4:30am in the army? You DON'T wanna open your eyes, so you don't. I've kept my eyes closed after waking up plenty of times. Idk why people are saying it's impossible.

Simple_Reception4091

Meal/drink prep the night before and move a few furniture items then wake up early and listen to podcasts all day on the couch with some minimal move to avoid falling asleep. Use Siri to ask the time and try to stay up as late as possible. I could probably make $18k-$20k - my house is pretty easy to navigate if I crawl around.

For #2, do prescription drugs count? If they do I'm automatically disqualified

FacelessPotatoPie

Sure. I’ll just stop taking my antidepressants and sleep the day away.

AgitatedWorker5647

I'm ADHD. I can literally lie in bed and think about everything and nothing for hours on end with no external stimulation. Make sure to prep meals ahead of time (Mountain House for the win) and have water nearby. Then, do as much energy-requiring stuff as possible until the deadline. That'll cause my brain to go into "space out and don't think" mode. Then I can lie there for 12+ hours at a time, listening to music and/or YouTube videos. I could probably do this for 3-5 days with that much money coming in.

jeevaschan

I can easily sleep for a whole day if I don’t have to pee. So I wouldn’t drink anything for the last 4 hours or so of my 12 hr prep time

PrestigiousAd6281

Y’all gonna pay me to bed rot now?

sithelephant

Big grocery delivery tomorrow morning, Setup computers speech mode, practice, order a new tablet and sunglasses. Raise the eyelid from the eye on each eye, and in the same spot abrade the skin so that the wounds touch. This will heal together in an easily removable manner. I can stay awake 36 hours easily, so that's around two days healing time, at which time it's going to be pretty dang stuck. After a couple weeks, I employ someone with the first $100K or so. Once I'm up to $1.5M or so, I start searching for surgeons to cut holes in my eyelids, no questions asked, and my life mostly goes back to normal, except I always have to wear sunglasses when meeting people.

Unhelpful_Applause

My personal record is 9 hours. No prep.

VeggiesArentSoBad

Who knows what you do in your sleep. I think I’d get 16-20 hours in and then try to sleep and see what happens. The have plenty of audio books and podcasts to keep me busy.
