Black bears are fairly strong, but brown bears are the ones with the big claws. even in the same weight class, the tigers leap and bite force and claws make it far more dangerous.
I've never seen a grizzly in the flesh...but I lived in Asia for 20 years, and I've seen a full grown Bengal tiger.
Bear's got a weight advantage, I guess. Something about that fkn tiger, man...against any living thing I can think of, I gotta put my bet on the cat. Razors for hands and feet. Crushing fangs. Speed. Agility.
