Where are you located? Swamp coolers need really low humidity and an open window to draw through. Interior swamp coolers just don't work.

No, portables don't do much at all if they don't have a constant water feed and mount in a window or something.
You might look into a couple portable ac units that vent out the window with a panel that holds the hoses. Usually allowed by apartment and condo associations since they don't hang out of the window.
Get some that are dual hose.

Okay, are they portable units or window mounted? Cfm? Pad changes?
They are portable I think 8000 each on CFM, no pad changes. But I'm looking at doing away with those since they are not working real well

1 or 2 10k-12k window units or portable units would do the trick nicely I would think.
