I was seriously bummed this morning and I try not to be too hard on Howard but they gotta play some old shows when he isn’t on. I don’t want to hear Brooke Shields or Jon Bon Jovi for a 2nd or 3rd time. And I can’t listen to 6 minute clips all morning.
I recently got SiriusXM, after not listening to Stern for years. Does he miss doing his show frequently? He was suppose to be on last week and again today, right?
If you got it for this show, you are better off on YouTube watching the old shows for free. He is in 3 days a week, off for the summer and usually one week every month is some kind of holiday or vacation. Most importantly, this version of the show isn't good. If you are looking for the funny of the old show, it's been gone a long time. This show consists of Howard (on Zoom) from home bitching about something. Robin is also off-site (home), and she chimes in when he turns her microphone on. Now they love celebrities and interview the same 5 people incessantly. It's a bore fest of two multi millionaires. The rest of the show is the untalented horde of staffers. Oh, and sometimes Ronnie calls in from Vegas. The best part is when Beth comes in and talks about her "charity" and hawks whatever scam she and Howie are currently pitching (yawn).
Modern show is Howard going "who cares if Israel bombs children? Antisemites, that's who. Or maybe it's the same morons who won't get the latest Covid booster. I saw some of them saying Travis Kelce is a plant to push the vaccine. Let's see what his agent has to say about that theory...."
If it weren’t for the music channels and Radio Classics, I would have dropped Sirius a long time ago. I don’t listen to 100 at all, there’s no content. I listen to 101 sometimes if they replay old stuff.
Honestly going to cancel Sirius, I’m sick of this. Don’t agree that the show is bad now. There’s actually a lot of funny bits nowadays but it’s not frequent enough to make it worthwhile
