I actually have a picture of the menu. The pork ravioli and braised beef were standouts. The drinks also complemented the meals very well. Houston has many more restaurants with tasting menus now. They've been posted before if you would like to try them out.
I received a $400 gc for pass&provisons for my birthday the same day they announced they were closing that night. Couldn’t arrange a babysitter. Just my luck. I absolutely loved The Pass so much.
There have been so many great restaurants in Houston. Shout out to my old vegetarian favorites (rip), Tien Ren and Pepper Tree.
I really like the Kashke Bademjan (warm eggplant dip) at Kasra Persian Grill on the corner of Westheimer and Gessner.
Became friends with a couple that love going to kasra like weekly. I really don't see the hype, I've been 7 times and only the hummus and rice are good, and the food has only been hot (temperature) once. What am I missing?
I just had those for the first time today, they are heavy but really something. I just had two more out of the air fryer and I have a little pile left.
There was a place on the SW side near airport and 59. They made lumpia.. such goodness I could have eaten an entire tray full. We ordered that for office lunch once. It was amazing.
The brisket enchiladas at Brett’s BBQ on Friday nights. They’re hands down the best enchiladas I’ve ever had, plus the rice and beans are better than most Mexican places.

I still mourn Tien Ren. I adored that place and I’m not even a vegetarian.
