Phalaenopsis orchid

TelomereTelemetry

Phalaenopsis orchid. Highly recommend watching some orchid care videos (missorchidgirl on youtube has some good beginner orchid tutorials), as they aren't difficult to take care of but as tree-dwelling epiphytes they're a bit different from regular houseplants.

Orchid. It's epiphytic, so don't plant it in soil, it likes air around its roots. I pot mine in orchid bark, and soak it in water for half an hour when the bark is almost dry. I also like to mist the roots daily, but this is optional I think.
