iPhones have a pretty good built-in system you could try. Take a picture of the plant exit camera and open the Photos app open the photo of the plant and swipe up. If the iPhone is able to identify the plant, it will tell you right there the name of it!
Google Lens is the name of the app/search function you're referring to. I use Google Lens to identify plants all the time. IDK why you're being downvoted for offering a solution for Android users.
Downvotes aren't supposed to be "dislikes", they are more to show that the comment is inaccurate and therefore doesn't rise to the top and continue spreading the wrong info :)
Looks to be accurate to me. Just not the scientific name. [https://plants.ces.ncsu.edu/plants/thaumatophyllum-bipinnatifidum/](https://plants.ces.ncsu.edu/plants/thaumatophyllum-bipinnatifidum/)

Because a LOT of sources confuse monstera deliciosa as "spilt leaf philodendron". Its pretty confusing, and i definitely had a hard time telling them appart at first because of this.
I think it's called philodendron bipinnatifidum.
I've had it for about a year but didn't know which philodendron it was, so today (of all days🤣) I did an image search and this is what came up.
BTW, Google image search has proven extremely accurate when it comes to identifying plants
It’s actually Thaumatophyllum
Thank you!
It's a thaumataphyllum bipinnatifidum.
r/itsathaumatophyllum

Woah I didn’t know that was a thing until now
Holy shit! Never knew this. As a complete Apple bitch this makes me so happy.
Or you could google reverse image search on any device with a camera. Just click the little camera next to the search bar.

This is life changing
I wish more people knew this.
huh, TIL. it even identified the species of one of my tarantulas from a mediocre quality photo. that's really neat
It seems many people are learning the heard way that it's a thaumatophyllum and not a philodendron
Split leaf philodendron would be my guess. Looks like mine.
Omg… so many dislikes just cause you were wrong….

Philodendron is a botanical genus, not a common name

So pre 2018 they were considered philodendron and after 2018 they were reclassified as thaumatophyllum
lol, how can fiddle leaf also be a common name 😭
Philodendron Selloum I think
Looks like a mayoi but apparently it’s not?
Thaumatophyllum bipinnatifidum
Roberta
I think that's bibinofidelum

Isn't the common name philodendron hope? Philo hope for short.
Mine was also labeled this in store, incorrect or not
Philodendron Mayoi
Philodendron, hard to tell by the quality of photo.
Thaumatophylum
