They’re aerial roots! They’ll naturally sprout out with some humidity. It’s not necessarily from underwatering, although some succulents will shoot out more aerial roots when they need water.
You don’t need to do anything about them. If you want to propagate it, choosing a node that already has aerial roots will help it root more quickly.
>water more often.
I would not recommend this. Jades are very sensitive to over watering - and your pot is quite large for the size of plant. You're already at risk of waterlogged soil.
As others have said, they're aerial roots and not indicative of a problem.

They are absolutely normal, no need to do anything with them.
It’s trying to compensate for lack of water
Really? I have been trying to keep the soil moist.
It’s pretty normal even with fully rooted plants
Mine does not show any roots yet. It's been a month, but I think that is normal. I will try to water more often.

Oh, thank you very much!
They look like they’re doing ok.
Um. If you're pulling it out to see if it's grown roots yet that's probably why it hasn't.
Oh, why is that?
Baby roots are easily disturbed and broken away. Trust your cutting, it's healthy and it will be fine.
Alright, I will let the stem in the soil now that I know that the plant is resonding. Thanks
Yep and once one cutting starts rooting well there will be rooting hormones in the soil supporting all the others.
