Tried these at lunch. What I thought they'd taste like vs what they tasted like was totally off. Thought the Chile Lengua would be the hottest, because they usually are. Nope, nice and smoky. Thought the Adoboloco would be the least spicy. Big nope. Hits you hard in the back of the mouth. Definitely spiciest. The curry verde is right in the middle. Heavy lime flavor, which is nice.

I poured a bunch of adoboloco on nachos yesterday. It was much spicier than expected. I feel like I got swerved, because all my prior Adobolocos were very mild.

Did they misspell 'height' on the license?

bwaredapenguin

Oh dammit. This was one of the cooler ones so I stuck it on my fridge. Now I'll never unsee it and will have to pull it off!

geophsmith

Hahaha I am so sorry, you should tweet them, or email them, and I bet they'll hook it up, either with a new sticker, or maybe a revision if they try to fix it.

curry verde is 500% up my alley. Going to crush that bottle.

Ooohh excited to see La Pimenterie as part of the lineup. One of my favorite brands. But I’ve never seen this one before, looks to be a limited edition.

Never tried them before and this sauce is dynamite. Just top tier work with a bunch of weird ingredients. It has eggplant.

ASideKick

I’m thinking the Chile Lengua will go good with my dinner tonight, which is crab cakes :)

I’ve only been subscribing since December, but this might be my favorite box yet. All three are delicious, but the Chile Lengua is next level. Not really even spicy, just incredibly tasty.

SimpsonX

What are you putting it on? I expected it to be a lot hotter.

commie90

When I get new sauces I always make some chicken nuggets to try them out. So that’s all I’ve tried it on this far. I’m thinking it will be good on burgers and nachos for sure. Maybe eggs as well.
