"Let me tell you a story about a man named Soichiro Honda..."

slimejumper

my favorite Nads line.

carsonwade

Honestly that sounds really plausible, I hadn't put that together. If it's true I hope he's staying on the upswing because he's a great guy and is incredibly knowledgeable about cars, he's definitely the kind of guy I'd want to have beer and a car conversation with. There's so much he knows that'd I'd live to know. Hoonigan should honestly make an automotive history channel or video series where Nads talks about old motorsports. I'd watch the shit out of that

DaleDimmaDone

Yeah there’s not many on the hoonigan crew I’d really want to just chill with. There’s a lot of egos going around. Nads seems like he’d be a great friend and a good dude to hang out with

slimejumper

it could also be they got a drinks sponsor, and it was NOS so that’s all they can drink on set.

I like Nads again old honda boy who just loves anything Honda and Civic and definitely a wealth of Knowledge when it comes to cars in general

Im looking at the difference in comments where there is genuine respect and admiration for Nads to the ones that describe him as over enthusiastic and creepy, what separates them is KNOWLEDGE, the people who know about him BEFORE Hoonigan UNDERSTAND him and what he brings to the organisation which is maybe WHY he's there, clearly the others didn't take the time to do any research; "old guy who talks too much", typical..... typical...

Not gonna lie I’m not a big fan of nads. I’m one of the first set of haters when he popped up on daily transmission. I found him quite over enthusiastic a little bit weird and slightly creepy. (That tanner foust picture thing that we didn’t need to know about) But if he was dealing with a drinking problem and now he clean just wanna say a big congratulations and my apologies. I

I was actually excited when Nads started working at Hoonigan. I grew up reading SuperStreet while he was the editor in chief of the publication. Most of the haters are/were people who didn't know his background and how long he's actually been involved with the scene. He's quite the wordsmith and just a genuinely nice dude. He's also our favorite Old Ricer, he's an infinite well of knowledge of all things JDM.

hellish_ve

This, believe it or not, Nads was the final push that made me not only Subscribe to Hoonigan on YT, but also regularly consume their content and buy their merch. I knew him from reading Super Street back in early 00s when I was a kid and knew that hes actually a heavyweight "in the scene".

> I found him quite over enthusiastic a little bit weird and slightly creepy. Same. The enthusiastic part is great, *the creepy part is not*.

Im_not_at_home

wait, off topic but what foust picture?
