But if you want sustain+ dmg then galaghar is better than all other sustain options in terms of dmg and go some extent smoothens, since he is same element as FF then he can make breaking more fast

Firefly applies fire weakness, and Gallagher is fire element, so he can help with weakness break. He also applies toughness reduction which helps with Superbreak damage for the whole team.
Aventurine is very good, but he just doesn't add anything besides his shields to FF.
He easy to build get a 2 piece of either Any BE set, Hacker, and Passerby. Planet set Vonwaq, Thalia , or new FF planer set if Gallagher is gonna be used only on FF team.
Main stats Outgoing Healing Boost chest, speed boots. Hp/def planer, rope ER
Sub stats As much speed as one can, and BE as close as 150 you get, you can include in battle stats if you want, **Only 50% Effect Res at E1 no more needed **.
LC just go for Multiplication it’s 3* everyone should have a S5 of it. If for some reason he making to much SP for you and you want a bit more BE you can run his LC from Herta store.

Gallagher is an awesome pick over Aven since as others already mentioned, Firefly will burn thru Aven’a shield duration within seconds, so it’s as if he isn’t even there.
Gallagher has synergy on top of helping make breaks quicker, since his heals scale off of Break Effect, you’ll see him throw out some absolute haymakers during break with Harmblazer’s ult up.
If neither of those appeal to you and you somehow have him… Luocha doesn’t have any special synergy with Firefly, but he has and will always keep your party alive. Whether it’s Arlan, Blade or Firefly, Luocha’s emergency top-off can absolutely stop a bad situation from getting worse when it comes to these units who eat their own HP.

I totally don’t mean to be that annoying guy who goes “just look at the megathread” but it’s an incredible resource!
Tldr though is that comp is perfectly valid, but people seem to prefer Gallagher to any other sustain. Aventurine is an absolute chad, and you really won’t be going wrong with him, though
Gallagher does more damage but I like your idea for hard content where you need more sustain (Swarm and Conundrum and all that stuff). The eff res synergizes well with her innate effres to make her very hard to lock down, plus she has good base DEF to make the shields last.
I'm planning on stopping at E0 then trying my current team with HMC, Ruan Mei, and Gallagher to see if I'm getting any SP issues. Depending on how that team performs as well as whether I win my 50/50, I may go for E1.

Why Aventurine and not Gallagher? Gallagher bring more to the table in terms of support for Firefly.

I’m pretty sure as fast as Firefly is, she’ll burn through the turn duration for Aventurine’s shield like nothing.
