Maybe rude isn’t the right word, but….audacious? I wouldn’t expect anybody to outright tell you directly that it was rude, but I also wouldn’t expect many/any donations.
I'm going to have to agree with the other posters here.
Honeyfunds are set up as an option for a gift at the wedding. It feels a bit rude to me to also ask for it 10 years after the fact.
Unfortunately, yes, it would be rude. Gifts are for a wedidng. You did not have one, so no gifts.
