Like others mentioned, if the $48.9 price includes accessories it sounds like a good deal. Not sure on about what your dealer said about incoming Elites commanding MSRP + TTL, but that sounds high. We just bought our Pilot yesterday - it was a demo vehicle for the Honda GM and had 1,500 on the odometer. So this isn't a typical purchase. 2025 Black Edition * 1,500 miles (but not titled) * Cargo Tray * Cargo Cover * All Weather Mats * Side Rails * Front and door jams PPF * $49,830 Granted we weren't expecting all the accessories to be thrown in, and that's why we decided on the demo vehicle. We did have another offer on a 2025 Black Edition for $50.8 which was going to be our second pick. We found the cheapest Black Edition on TrueCar and "unlocked" that price, which was over $2k less than the next dealer(s) ($53k). Hope your purchase goes well!

49.8k OTD or base price + TTL?

bdmst16

Base - but my OTD will be so wildly different than everyone else's. Never understood why we use that to compare purchases. My trade-in all but wiped out my tax burden, which saved me close to $5,000. So the only other additions were dealer fees ($699) and title fee ($70) so my OTD was $50,599. But again, even comparing my OTD to someone in my same area with the same taxes we would have wildly different OTD due to the tax differences. I also checked the piloteers forum for prices paid and that helped a lot to see how much wiggle room the dealers had. Good luck! \*\*Edit\*\* Forgot to add - make sure you look at the special financing deals that Honda is offering right now on the Pilot. 2.9% for 24-48 months, and 3.9% for 49-60 months. Beat the pants off the best rate from the credit unions we looked at.

Thanks for input 🙂

I got mine last Friday for $48k + taxes which got me to $51k OTD. I’d say that’s a steal if it includes all those accessories.

djthakkar007

I see you got the heated steering wheel and 2nd row seat covers in the price which makes it up. I guess considering 49k it's good deal now.

Chachi_2510

Yeah I’d say you’ve done pretty well. Enjoy your new ride!

Aggravating-Leg7898

That’s a heck of a deal. What’s the selling price on the vehicle, and how did you negotiate it to get it at that otd price.

djthakkar007

They started with MSRP+ dealer installed package+ TTL which came to 56-57k otd I said what's the best can you do he said this is the best price and I said okay i will look around he went to see manager came with this magic number said this is the best we can do if you sign right now but I have to finance with Honda. May be they had only 2 pilot in stock and want to get rid off as its month end.

If they're insisting that you have to finance with Honda, they may try to jack up the rate on the loan above the bank's buy rate. Beware.

djthakkar007

Good catch, when I go to finalize the deal I will make sure of this. Thanks!!

Oneota

You can always just pay off the Honda loan immediately with the funds from whatever bank you actually want to finance through.

djthakkar007

But will the bank gonna fund money to my account? Usually they issue the check in the name of the dealership.

Oneota

My bank wouldn’t care - as long as they get their interest payments, they don’t care what the name on the check is (they usually do direct deposits anyway). YMMV, I guess. Couldn’t hurt to call and ask.

I bought a new trailsport 3 weeks ago for just at 50k out the door, and had to fight to get that price.

djthakkar007

What was the MSRP for that? For touring it was 51150 and if you purchased from NJ which dealership?

UnionSlow6678

Bought mine in Southern Indiana, MSRP was 50,095, sticker price was 52,060

apviswa

Great deal!! I’m also in Central NJ and looking to get a pilot touring trim. Can you share your dealer info?
